To start out this month, let me tell you a little bit about my 4 favorite picks. The first is Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten. This is the BEST highlighter for the inner corner of your eyes. It also makes for a really beautiful lid color, but be forewarned that it is such a soft shadow that it can easily shatter. If you choose to add kitten to your makeup bag make sure you take care of her!

The next is Lorac baked blush in Exposed... the perfect shade of springtime coral. This color is gorgeous on every skin tone—it is universally flattering.

The Tocca Love Yourself Set has been a fragrance sampler I have had my eye on for awhile. The full size Tocca perfumes are just so beautiful that I have wanted one, but I had no idea which scent to try! And that is exactly why this fragrance sampler is PERFECT! You can try all of the scents before deciding which you want to purchase full size. Plus, you can have a new scent for every day of the week... and how perfect is that?

Go-To Beauty Do's and Never-Ever Don'ts!

I can't believe it's finally here... the launch of blush.com! My new one-stop-shop for the best beauty products around. For those of you who may not know, I'm Blair Fowler, a YouTube beauty vlogger under the screen name JuicyStar07. Over the past four years I have been creating makeup and hair tutorials, beauty product reviews, and fashion videos to be uploaded to my channel. I'm excited to announce that each month on blush.com I will be doing a new exclusive to blush blog post! This first post will be all about my biggest beauty do's and don'ts!

"Do..."

1. Curl your eyelashes! You'd be surprised how big of a difference this simple step makes. It opens your eyes and makes your lashes appear longer. For best results, curl each lash for 6-10 seconds before applying two coats of your favorite mascara.
2. Use a dryer sheet to reduce frizz! Dryer sheets for laundry helps with static electricity in your towels, so it only makes sense that it would help with frizz too! On mornings where your hair just won't chill out, grab a dryer sheet and gently rub it from your roots to the ends of your hair.
3. Apply an eye primer before your shadow! An eye primer is often seen as a pointless step, but it's actually the opposite! It will help the pigment in your shadow be more vibrant, as well as keeping it on all day without creasing or smudging.

"Don't..."

1. Apply wet over dry! This one is important especially in summer, when cream blushes and liquid tints are all the rage. Make sure to apply these over a liquid foundation, but NOT over powder, which will make the product cake, leaving you with an uneven skin texture.
2. Play up all your features! Choose either your eyes or lips to stand out, then keep the other simple. This way you're drawing attention to your face but not overpowering every feature.
3. Skimp on sunscreen! This is important even if you're not going to be outside for a long time. The simplest way to incorporate this into your everyday routine is to look for a foundation that contains SPF - that way you know you're always protected!
