Hair Texture |
| | Hello,
I have a question about hair texture. I have really coarse hair. I do get perms to help it but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to change it. It’s getting really hard to manage and I don’t have the time or money to do much about it. I had a friend who was losing hair. She went to a dermatologist for it and a few moths later all of her hair had grown back and it was a different texture. So is there anything that I can do to improve my hair texture. I’ve heard that msm changes it?

| | Hi I am a African American women. On my thighs (especially my inner thighs) I get blister or bumps. That can be red in appearance. After it subside it leaves a dark bruise/mark. What do you think it is? And how can I get rid of it? |

White Spots With Tiny Red Dot In The Middle. |
| | I've noticed these white spots all over my arms about the size of a dime with a tiny red dot in the middle. they look like they're bleeding,but they're not..I'm very fair skinned and pale. I haven't been tanning in awhile. (since last summer)..These spots do not itch or irritate me at all. I have no idea what they are? should I see a doctor? I get cold really easily..my skin turns purple also. If that helps.. My family has a big history of skin cancer in it.

Products Not Working Anymore??? |
| | Hello. I'm following up with questions for the recommended treatment I was given. I'm a African American female with a caramel brown complexion. I am now 24 and have had stubborn acne since a teenager (mostly whiteheads and small red bumps) , with oily skin and brown spots that are left after the acne. I tried the CosMedix line (purity balance, toner, clarity serum, and later the refine 4%), paired with the MaMa lotion. It worked wonderfully for about the first two months....after that I don't know what happened! After ordering the first kit online and seeing how well it worked, i began buying it from a local spa since the clarity serum was always sold out online....but after that first kit and 2 months later-- I have seen breakouts including cystic pimples that I have not has since I was 15! The only upside is that the MaMa lotion seems to keep the brown spots from getting really bad. Is there something that you can recommend? I was thinking about going back to the Benzoyl Peroxide (maybe Proactiv)...but does it work well with the MaMa lotion? Please help. Any further product recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |

Can Sleeping On Your Side Cause Wrinkles? |
| | I'm 40 almost 41 and sometimes I sleep on my side. Sometimes I'll wake up with some deep lines on my cheeks and side of my face. They take hours to go away. So far they thank god haven't become permanent. I'm going to get a silk pillow as I heard this can help. I've tried sleeping on my back but it's just to hard. But if I try to avoid sleeping on my side and don't get these terrible lines when I wake up. Am I in the clear or have I already done the damage from sleeping on my side?
Any advice would help.

Choosing Right Product |
| | I am interested in the Phytomer line. I just turned 30, and I am concerned with anti aging, however, I still have T-Zone breakouts. Everything I have tried with anti aging seems to flair up my breakouts. Every skin clearing product I have tried dries out my skin. I have tried my sister in laws' phytomer accept cleanser, I do really like it. But, what else could I combine to get the best regimen. Another One Suffering From Adult Acne! |

I live in Florida - very humid, and am trying to decide between these 3 acne lines and would love your guidance....(tried Proactive, didn't respond well - to drying, don't tolerate benz. peroxide). Rx Topicals And Moisturizers |
| | Hello,
I recently started a new regimen from my dermatologist for my acne. it's mild to moderate but my pores are huge and get clogged easily...I'm 28 and am now also concerned about aging, wrinkles, etc.
i use a sulfer prescription face wash and clindamyicin for day and then differin at night and doxycycline pills 2x a day for the next month. my question is, what kind of oil free moisturizer do i use with it that won't break out or what else should i add to the regime? sometimes i get facials to clean out the blackheads, should i still do that?
I'm just confused...

Adult Acne |
| | Hi, I never had acne (or at least anything noticeable) as a teenager, in my mid 20's (after i got pregnant) during my pregnancy i got acne, well, after my 2nd child and now i am 30 i as still fighting acne, i have tried pro-active and murad my dr. also, gave me benza-clin problem is i have these bumps that are under the skin on my cheeks and if anything comes out of them, it just comes back hours later, i have used everything what are these bumps and why won't they go away???
