I’ve always had dry skin (feels tight after washing even just with water). However for the last year or so I’ve noticed more congestion on my forehead and jaw, as well as some breakouts on my chin. But my skin still feels tight after washing. I dont want to over exfoliate because my skin will dry out worse - but my chin ALWAYS has a zi! Does this mean I have combination skin? Historically salycylic acid and benzoyl perozide spot treatments dry out or irritate my skin as well. So I have no idea what products to use for congnestion or zits - or dryness! Any advice?
