is it your mother's Estee Lauder?

I grew up with my Mom using Estee Lauder products for everything...in fact she is 87 with beautiful skin and still uses EL products. So I figured why not shake it up and try this cleansing balm for night time...so far so good. It seems to clean my face well and I don't have to wait until the water gets hot to activate it. I do like to remove it with a damp wash cloth and my skin feels soft and clean afterwards. Those Lauder folks...they do have something up their sleeves. A little goes a long way so I think the pot will be around for awhile. I hope I look as good as my Mom at 87....I'll keep using this EL product and maybe pick up a few others along the way!

Not the Estee Lauder products you grew up with....

This Estee Lauder cleansing balm is excellent! This is my first time trying this particular balm and it was a great experience. It has a very subtle citrus like scent and rinses of great using a cloth or just rinsing with water. Would definitely recommend this cleanser for all skin types.

Great Option!

I like this cleansing balm and the consistency. The smell is on the light side and pleasant, very spa like. Doesn't strip my skin and leaves me soft!! Wish it was bigger!

Nice balm, but thick consistency makes it harder to wash off

This is a nice balm, but the consistency is so thick that it makes it harder to wash the oils on my face off. Had to switch to another cleanser to get the impurities out.

okay but too expensive

I think this is a good, gentle way to remove makeup, but really overpriced for what it is/does. Honestly you can use most any oil to do the same job.

Not replacement for Clinique Take the Day Off Balm

I have been a loyal fan of the Clinique Take the Day off Balm for 10 years or so. I picked this one up because it seemed really similar. It does work about the same, but the smell is so strong that it wasn't for me.

I've been using for years

So glad that dermstore is now carrying EL. I've been using it on and off for years. I really like it. It does such a great job of melting off my makeup and it feels very luxe. I only wish the price tag is cheaper. The tube is really small and I go through the whole thing pretty quick and that makes it not budget friendly.
