Rene Furterer Carthame
Rene Furterer's Cathame line is ideal for those with dry hair but an oily scalp. Carthame, a specific species of thistle, is native to the East. Carthame oil, extracted from its seeds, has a high content of Karité butter and nutrients necessary for healthy and beautiful hair. Karité butter comes from almonds contained inside the fruit of Karite tree, also referred to as the “butter tree”. The softening, nourishing and restructuring properties of Karité extract have been used for ages for the treatment of both skin and hair. A botanical active plant ingredient with anti-seborrheic properties, Curbicia extract is obtained by a process of squash hydrolysis patented by René Furterer Laboratories. Combined with clove, thyme, rosemary and sweet orange essential oils, it provides anti-fungal and anti-septic properties to balance the hair and scalp. The hair shaft is hydrated, and hair scales are closed, giving the hair suppleness and radiance.
