"This is my first retinol product, and I after a lot of research I went with Afirm. I have sensitive skin and took the risk to start on this dose (other reviews mentioned a much, much longer 'waiting' period for results from the lower dose. Ah, vanity wins again!) I am in my first few weeks of using this, and it's been very gentle on my skin - absolutely no irritation yet. I use it about 3x per week on face and hands and I thought I saw a difference after my 3rd use. And then I thought it must be 'wishful thinking' at work, so I asked my husband -- who said there was a difference! Skin looks smoother, and more even-toned."
