"I've been wearing Jane Iredale pressed foundation since 2000. Because I cannot examine and try on the colors in person before I buy, it has taken a while to find the right color, but Warm Silk is the most flattering on my neutral-to-cool skin. It evens everything out, including pinkness from mild rosacea, without adding too much yellow or more pink to my already-pink skin. The texture is smooth and goes on beautifully with the Handi brush (or the flocked sponge in areas where I want a little more coverage). Unlike liquid or creams, the mineral powder does not settle in my pores, and unlike many powders, it does not cling to facial hairs and add years to my face. It really does conceal without looking like a mask. I finish with a couple spritzes of Pommist, and my face looks flawless and very youthful and completely natural. Over time the packaging has improved dramatically. It's gone from a decidedly unglamorous, lightweight, blue-plastic compact to a weighty gold compact that feels substantial in the hand. I love that the makeup lasts all day and doesn't rub off on my collar or scarves, as well as the fact that it doesn't look like I am wearing makeup. Jane Iredale makes the best foundation I have ever used. Her mineral products were the first, and they are still the very best. Worth every penny."
