- Global Goddess Beauty was created in 2006 by celebrity makeup artist and author Shalini Vadhera. During her extensive global travels, Shalini gained inspiration from the diverse beauty trends of different cultures. It was the beauty she saw in each skin tone, face shape and environment that propelled her to create her own makeup line.
Designed to have a strong multi-cultural draw, Shalini especially aimed to perfect shades for the often pushed aside mid-range skin tone, such as Latina, Middle Eastern and South Asian complexions. In addition to this, Global Goddess Beauty features cosmetics that retain notes of their inspiration, such as the sari-like silkiness of the cream textures, and the rich fabrics and bright colors that remind Shalini of her own Indian heritage.
