- ModelCo was founded in 2002 by model agent Shelley Barrett. Since then, it has developed a large cult following, especially in its hometown of Sydney, Australia. During her 10 years as a hugely successful model agent, Shelley heard countless cries for beauty products not yet on the market. As these demands grew, Shelley saw the opportunity to create a cosmetics line that would fill in the gaps of the beauty industry.
