- The Nina Ricci line began in Paris in 1932 by Madame Ricci and her son Robert Ricci, starting as a fashion line that reflected the sophistication and rebelliousness of the era. Success came quickly, and in 1946, Robert Ricci developed the first in a series of perfumes, "Coeur-Joie". Two years later, Nina Ricci debuted the "L'Air du Temps" fragrance, an international success that is still sold today.
As fragrances quickly became as important to the Nina Ricci name as fashion, the company moved into its prestigious Ury Perfume Production Centre in 1974, a state-of-the-art facility outside of Paris that has since been home to all of the line's perfume production. At the time, Nina Ricci's worldwide popularity made the company one of France's leading exporters.
Nina Ricci continues to make elegance its trademark. Its wide array of perfumes and skin care products are filled with sensual aromas that revitalize the spirits with their ease and sophistication.
