Rembrandt
Before Rembrandt, whitening toothpastes were essentially an abrasive substance that sometimes contained fluoride. The more abrasive the toothpaste, the better it cleaned, and the more it wore down the tooth structure. When Rembrandt Extra Whitening was introduced, it changed toothpaste technology. For the first time, a toothpaste was available which did not rely entirely on abrasion to remove stain. Instead, Rembrandt uses Citroxain®, an enzyme based formulation so different, that it earned a U.S. patent. This formulation cleans and polishes the teeth so well, that it significantly whitens teeth by surface stain removal and actually whitening the color of teeth. In addition, Rembrandt has demonstrated the ability to significantly fight cavities. |
