Over Zealous Sabaceous Glands :(Question I am a 20yr female who has been battling acne since pre-adolescence. Not only do I have "an oily T-zone" but my entire face is just completely smothered in oil, especially if I start to sweat. That's when it is the worst, because instead of liquid perspiration my oil ducts go into overtime. My skin has it's ups and downs-but mostly downs. I have a dermatologist that I go to who has me on Doxycycline (oral medication), Benzaclin (topical cream), and Tazorac (a gel for blemishes) but my skin still seems unresponsive. Not only that but my back (a harder area to monitor and take care of) is going through the same thing as my face - CONSTANT BREAK OUTS! I'm getting restless and frustrated what can I do to conteract over zealous sebaceous glands and unruly breakouts? -Shaday Answer Honestly it sounds to me like you have tried numerous things to address your issues with no results.
