Hi There, Just wondering, is it true that your skin is meant to break out more at the beginning of using a new cleansing routine, as it means its getting rid of all the "yuckies" underneath the skin? (or is it really because the cleanser is no good and making me break out?) I am using a gentle exfoliating cleanser with salicylic acid, a toner containing salicylic acid, and an oil free moisturiser also containing salicylic acid.
Answer
It is very normal for your skin to purge, or break out, with a new skin care regimen. I suggest you continue use of the regimen for a month or so and see if there is any change. Best skin care wishes.
