It did nothing for my skin. I have been using Proactive for about three years now, but it seems like my skin grows immune to it after awhile. My skin is pretty oily and breaks out terribly in the chin and jaw area due to hormones. I also have small white bumps (that don't ever come to a head) on my forehead. Someone recommended the Dermalogica Specail Cleansing Gel, but I am also interested in the Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser. Do you have a recommendation? Answer I don't really recommend either for your skin condition and type. Special Cleansing Gel is generally good for all skin types, but if you are oily and acneic it's not going to help much with it. The Ultracalming Cleanser is for reactive, fragile skin. I'd recommend Jan Marini Skin Research Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel which is excellent, but you have to be pretty oily. Or Biomedic Antibac Acne Wash. Best skin care wishes.
