face burns when sc is applied mid-day

When we are at the beach both of my children complain of their face burning after the second round of sunscreen has been applied mid-day. They will cry in pain and go in to wash it off. Any suggestions?

You may want to switch the sunscreen you are using. I recommend Mustela Sun Cream for Sensitive Areas SPF 50 or California BAby SPF 30+ Sunscreen Lotion Super Sensitive - Fragrance Free. Please let me know if you have further questions. Best skin care wishes.
