Steroid Cream

Hello about a week ago my face broke out in a very painful rash i have suffered from this in the past before it is easily treated with a cream my doctor subscribed me with but at this time i had ran out of it so i used betnovate for a day but not knowing it was a steroid cream i used it on my face under my eyes on my eye lids and on the back of my ears. From using betnovate could it have caused any thinning of the skin or any other damage to my face and ears. Thank you

Unless suggested by your doctor, this cream is not generally prescribed for the face and can worsen skin conditions such as acne, breakouts, rosacea, etc. and should be avoided. If you only used the cream for a short period of time then I think you will be fine and wouldn't have caused damage. Please contact me with any further questions. Best skin care wishes.
