Rosacea or Seborrheic Dermatitis

Dear Dr. Craig, I am 36 old male and since the last November I'm suffering from the skin problems which involves T zone & cheeks redness. It is associated with flaking as well. My skin is very sensitive and even gentle touch is causing skin to peel and the area to flush. The problem is that I'm living in the Middle East and none of the doctors I've visited so far was able to tell me what it is (one said it is Rosacea and asked me to have 2 months course of antibiotics, the second said its some kind of Dermatitis, the third one said its Seborrheic Dermatitis, etc.). They all prescribed some kind of steroid crèmes but after 2 days the condition re-occurred. I’ve been trying with the cosmetics and lotions available over here but without visible improvement. My skin is very dry and sometimes very itchy. When close to the open fire (e.g. doing barbecue) I get red bumps on my face as well. Can you please try to resolve my problem and to advice on some products which can help me. Can it be some kind of fungal condition, Rosacea or Seborrheic Dermatitis? Thank you. Sincerely, Dan Lazic

Unfortunately the dermatologist is unable to answer questions at this time and this type of question falls out of my area of expertise. The area in concern could be a number of things including what has already been diagnosed. I apologize for this inconvenience, my recommending products without a proper diagnosis may only exasperate the issue.
