I have had a milia on my right upper eyelid for many years. I have noticed that lately it seems a little bigger. I have never had any pain or problems out of it until lately. I also had thyroid surgery about 6 months ago and have gone through a lot of hormonal changes. I had another milia show up under my left eye just this week. I have avoided doing anything to the larger milia for fear that I might make it worse or infect my eyelid. It is mostly cosmetic and you can barely see it through makeup but, over all I'm just concerned about having to do another surgical procedure in as many months. Thank you for your time. Laura

Life changing events such as sudden health problems, surgery, hormonal changes, etc. can all have an effect on the skin.
