Hi, about two years ago I took acutane to clear up my acne. I had been acne free from May 2006-December 2008. While I was on acutane I took orthotricycline as a birth control. I went off of it for 6 months June '08 to Dec '08. I began taking it again and within a month of taking it my acne came back. It is just concentrated around my chin area, (where it was before) and I'm afraid that it is due to the birth control medicine. What is the best birth control to take to get my skin back to normal. A milder one or one that is not specifically for acne? Thanks

Orth Tri-Cyclen is actually one of the birth control pills that is recommended to help address acne. YAZ and Estrostep are also recommended to do so. Best skin care wishes.
