salt water and skin complexion

hi, i live in a coastal area, a 2 kms away from sea. so the water i used to bath and use daily is a little salty. my question is that, 'does salt water affects or reduce my skin complexion?', basically will i became dusky if i bathe in salt water. is it good to bath in salt water? if yes what're the advantages? if not, what are the disadvantages? pls help me resolve this issue. i've changed to this location recently and i feel my skin is getting dusky day by day. I'm afraid it might me because of this. pls help me sir. thanks and regards, murali

Seawater or salt water have both negative and positive effects on the skin. It's not generally recommended that one bath daily or regularly with salt water though. Salt water can dehydrate the skin and also interfere with getting it as clean as it could. Long term it can cause problems. Please contact me with further questions.
