| | I have mild acne, and I am looking for a face wash that will keep my skin clear without drying it out. I have tried murad, proactive, beautiful skin, and retin-A. All of these product have dried my face out and, caused me to have red blotches on my face (like chemical burns). I heard about this new face wash called Acnexus, and would like to know if you know anything about this product, and if it would be a good face wash for me to use. I would also appreciate any suggestions. |

Acnetane |
| | I did not suffer from acne as a child or as a teenager. I am 25 years old and for the last two years I have been getting pimples around the mouth only. I never have less than two per day and they are very large & sore pimples. My doctor has just prescribed acnetane for a period of 6 months which I must take on alternate days. I am very concerned about taking this because I am afraid that it may effect my liver and kidneys at a later stage. Also I want to start with a family in about 1 and a half years and I am afraid that it may effect my child or my chances of falling pregnant. I would like to know if this is the best option for me and if the risks mentioned above are true? |

I recently had a terrible car accident!
I have a spinal cord injury, and I am now an incomplete paraplegic.
I have terrible cystic acne on my back and chest.
Do you think that I should use Acnetane for my acne?
Or will it have an effect on my spinal cord?

| | I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been using L'oreal AcneResponse over the counter now for a couple of months. I always forget to ask my doctor if this is safe to use during my pregnancy. It is a three step program that contains cleanser, toner and lotion. Please let me know as soon as possible. |

| | I use Neoceuticals antibacterial facial cleanser in the a.m. and p.m. I also use Neostrata bionic face lotion. I do have acneic skin. My dermatologist has me using Metrogel in the a.m. and I use Clindagel before bed. I am also on Doxycycline 100mg every day. I am wondering what other skin care products should I add to my daily regimen. I would prefer sticking with Neostrata. I also get glycolic peels from my esthetician every 2 weeks for 6 treatments. Please let me know what I should be adding to my routine. Thank you |

I am 29 years old and due to start using acnetane for 4 months by next week. I am scared to start because of all the side effects I have read about. I am also planning to have a baby next year and also worried that my baby might be affected. How long does it take for the product to wear off from one's system. Has this product worked well for you? Please advise.

My name is tarryn and i've been on acnetane in conjunction with a birth control pill called melodene for almost 2 months now 30mg and I'm still breaking out, i do see a very small difference in my complexion but very minor... how long before the breakouts stop and when will the marks fade? do i need a stronger dosage perhaps? will this drug work for me? my body weight is 55kg. i would really appreciate some advice. thanks |

Congested, Oily, Acneic Skin |
| | Please help. I am at my wit's end. I have always had really bad acne. I've tried every prescription drug available, including going through two rounds of accutane. The accutane helped, but now its back. I am Chinese, I have big pores, I am uber-oily, and I have to wear makeup every day for work. I tried cosmedix, and now PCA, and they don't really do it for me. I also use Zeno Pro, and get regular facials and peels. Regardless, by 3pm, my skin is so incredibly oily, shiny, and clogged. I use mineral make up from Glo Minerals, and absence by Jane Iredale. The only thing that has kinda worked for me is ProActive, but there is still much room for improvement. I am a young professional now, and it is so embarrassing. I cannot do another round of accutane, I am planning of having children in the next five years. Please help. I am so desperate. |

Can you tell me what you would suggest for oily skin with large pores in the t-zone area, acne on the forehead, neck and hair line mainly with a couple deep creases one in the middle of the forehead and one on the lower jaw line but few fine lines. I'm 45 and just not sure what to use any longer. It seems whatever I try works for a while but then stops. HELP!!! |

I have a very social life and drink alot of alcohol with my friends.
