Skin Blemishes |
| | Hi,
I'm late twenties male. I have been experiencing blemishes on my face (mainly forehead). I've been using a product (Clarins for Men) for the past year or so. I noticed some improvement as i used to have a very oily/shiny skin. I'm using Clarins products which are: Active Face Scrub, Face Wsah, Shine Free gel, Moisturizing gel, Undereye serum (as i have puffiness under the eyes). What do u think of those products?
I also recently heard about microdermabraison procedure..Is that a good choice for my case? Will it be removing ALL blemishes and leaves me with a toned, smooth skin?

Blemishes On Back |
| | Hello, i am a 25 year old African American woman who suffers from acne on the back. i don't break out as much on my back anymore but i cant stop picking the marks for some odd reason and now my whole entire back has dark brown blemishes all over it. i cant even were cute little shirts this summer i feel so horrible. what can i use to get rid of the blemishes on my back and start treating them now so hopefully my next summer i can get back into my nice shirts. |

Body Blemishes |
| | I have small blemishes all over the bottoms of my forearms and legs. I have tried everything. They are tiny and hard and cannot be squeezed. I have tried everything. At this point I scrub them in the shower with a pumice stone. That at least makes them smooth but I can still see them. Is there anything I can do? |

| | I am inquiring as to whether there is an over-the-counter product designed for relieving the blemishes of severe acne. For about 5 years, I have had severe acne on my face, and now as I'm getting older and using really good products, it has gone down to only a part of my face. But, there are still red parts on my face which the doctor says will only fade in time. Is there a way to speed up the process? |

Blemish Question? |
| | I have had a blemish on the side of my face for months now. At first, I thought it was a pimple, only it never went away. It is not red and it has never bled, like some of the other people on here have experienced. It is just a raised blemish on my face, slightly larger than a pimple would be. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I am afraid to try much on it. It does not hurt, and I cover it up with concealer when needed. I would like to know what it is, though, and what can be done to finally get rid of it or at least minimize it on my face. Thank you. Also, do you have any new ideas for face wash for people with sensitive skin? One thing that is always suggested to me but I know won't work is anything with witch hazel, it really does a number on my skin. I am currently using Soy Sensitive Skin Calming Self-Foaming Face Wash, from the Pure Simplicity line at Bath and Body Works. It's gentle enough for my face, but I don't have a store nearby. |

Acne And Blemishes |
| | I recently had some female surgery about 5 months ago and now have been experiencing the worse acne, blemishes and oilier skin problems ever before in my life. My breakouts are generally all over my face and even on the spreading behind my ears. I am a 41yr old African-American and normally have dealt with oily skin and mild acne. My Gynecologist didn't think the breakout had anything to do with my recent surgery. My General Practitioner thought it was acne with an allergic reaction. No food allergies are medication allergies before and at the time of this prognosis I was only taking meds for hypertension. I have tried the Proactiv Products for the past 2 months but see no improvement. What can I do to control the oil, blemish breakouts that leave spots on my face? I really need some help with this issue. |

Red Blemish |
| | So I had a pimple on my face, could not see where exactly it was at the time, but could tell it was there. So I tried to pop it, and I guess I kept squeezing around it, more so than on the pimple itself.
Well I guess doing this messed up the blood vessels or something, so I developed a scab. Then I made another stupid mistake, and picked the scab off after giving it the full amount of time to heal, and now I'm left with a red circle to the right of my chin.
I've been putting on cocoa butter for a couple days, but it doesn't seem to be helping at all yet. The blemish has been there around 2weeks and hasn't gotten any better.
I was wondering if re-injuring the skin in the same fashion i did before (squeezing it), would work to promote new skin to grow in that area. Thus allowing me to let it fully heal, giving me new non-discolored skin in that spot. |

| | i just had a baby six months ago, alll the hormones really did a number on my skin, i had a some break outs. for the most part i don't get them any more, but i do have the scars they left behind! what can i do, or have done, to help get rid of them or can i?
- i am currently useing jan marini skin research clean zyme and boglycolic cream. is there somthing in that line i can use? |

Blemish Bacteria |
| | hey,
I've heard that when you pop a pimple or balckhead that it can spread the bacteria to other parts of the face. Is that true? I've struggled with bad black heads for as long as I can remember and I am trying to break myself of the habit of popping them. Within the last year I've gotten these strange pimples. They are under the skin and aren't red or anything like a real pimple, but when pinched thick white stuff sort of like pus comes out. I've got them all over my chin and blackhead cleanser doesn't help. What are these, why did they show up so when I haven't done anything unusual, and will they go away eventually when I'm older (I'm 17), and what do I do in the mean time? Help! |

| | occasionally i get what looks like a pimple with pus (yellow or white) in it but it cannot be squeezed, they are hard to the touch and alcohol does not remove. I also get them on my eyelids. It seems to happen when i have used a skin lotion that is not my regular regimen. What are these and how can i get rid of them. they seem to last for MONTHS. Thank you |

| | My name is Vicki and i am 28 years old.
I have always suffered from mild acne from a teenager.
I am now suffering from red blotchy skin on my face, i also have flat red botchy scars under the skin caused from acne.
i cleanse with simple face wipes morning and night, and simple hydrating light moisturiser. My doctor has prescribed me Zineryt lotion for my spots.
