Switching Cleansers |

I'm wondering if I should switch my cleansers yet. I'm getting very confused,I purchased the Biomedic purifying cleanser, conditioning solution and the Beyond hydration. The girls said it would address my break outs or acne. I've been using it a month now and I'm told that this the purging could go for sometime. But, another girl at the Dermstore is telling me that the products I'm are not enough to treat my acne. She gave me a sample of the Skinmedica and told me to try it for a week. After 3 days I'm getting even more breaking out. I called and she told me that it's more meant for wrinkles and aging. I specifically told her I wanted to treat the acne. Now I'm not sure what to believe. Am I using the proper products for my problem? Or should I switch to a stronger method of Biomedic? I know they have a acne cleanser, my 30 day trail is up in 2 days I don't want to be stuck with something that doesn't work for me. Could you please help me figure out what will work. We also thought that maybe my skin was oiler due to over stripping with Proactiv, doesn't seem to have made a difference. Wouldn't my PH levels be leveled out by now if this was the problem? Please help me if you can. Thanks for your help yet, again. |

Face Cleansers |

i am currently using exuvience face cream cleanser and the toner. i am having breakouts, once a month, and this time the breakout lasted through the month. a friend recommended the cosmedix purity. i am wondering if i try that which moisturizer i should use. my friend uses skinceuticals and loves that alos. will you tell me if these would be a good combination for skin that is prone to breakouts once a month and i live in a dry climate where my skin tends to be dry to normal on average.

Facial Cleanser |
| | I have a 14-year old daughter, who has occasional acne and has extremely sensitive skin around the eye area. She has tried products with higher and lower concentrations of Benzoyl Per., that really clean her skin but cause her eyes to get red. Is there something she can use that will clean the oil, not get her eyes red. I should also mention she waxes her eyebrows and upper lip, so something that would not irritate her. |

In Search Of A Good Cleanser... |
| | Hi, I'm looking for a very mild cleanser, that cleanses without stripping the skin, yet doesn't leave a film. I cannot seem to find a good cleanser, they all seem to overstrip and dehydrate my skin.
I seem to have a problem with very small clogged pores, but tend to be dry at times (a bit oilier in summer)but feel that my overdrying cleanser is making this worse. I use products to minimize this and they work well, but if I could just find a better, gentle cleanser, I'll be good to go!!

My skin traditionally has been oily, but I have noticed that some areas are starting to require a moisturizer. Oilatum seemed to fulfill both needs and didn't cause breakouts. Obagi Cleanser And Toner |

I currently use the Obagi line of products - cleanser, toner, clear, exfoderm, blender, night eye cream, retin A. Since we're in a bit of a budget crunch, I'm forced to find a less expensive alternative. The first think I thought about was the cleanser and toner, since I'm almost out. Would something as cheap as Cetephil and an OTC toner be OK to replace the Obagi? I can continue with the other products since I have quite a bit on hand. Thank you for this forum! |

Best Cleanser For Rosacea And Breakouts |
| | I have rosacea and breakouts mostly in my chin area. I've tried Pevonia and gave it an honest try and didn't really like it. What else would you suggest? I am asking because I got an email today about Elave Hydrating Cream Cleanser and am intrigued. I want something that's not harsh, because of my sensitive skin condition, but feels like i am really clean after using it.
