| | Hello and what a great site this is. (: I have a question and It's been bothering me for a while though...
Basically I got hit by a soccer ball on the upper side my my nose and I guess it cut the skin or something. It didn't bleed, it just felt a little sticky. I went home and washed my face and it was a little red mark. A scab appeared the next day and I let it peel normally. Now Im left with this.. pinkish mark on my nose =[.. is there anything I can do about this? Any help is appreciated, thanks (:. |

| | Hi I am 18 years old and in high school I ran cross country, which really killed my feet. And as a result I received "corns" and i bought some dr. scholl's corn remover and it really made it worse. Now they just look like scars and their really shiny and raised above the skin. i have tried fade creams, but they don't work. And i was wondering is something that dermatologist can recommend that can help minimize the scars on my toes! Because I really want to flip-flops and sandals again! I HATE MY FEET |

| | Hello, I'm a 21 year old girl. I am really self conscious about the scars on my legs. A few years ago I got chiggers really bad which resulted in several scars on my shins and lower legs. The scars are scattered around in small brown dots and patches. I have used creams and oils to help reduce the color and make them less visible, however nothing has worked. Do you have any suggestions? |

| | hi, I had a large pimple that developed around 5months ago. Since then the pimple has come and gone and looked q infected at times. The pimple has come again and has now been present for 3weeks, I went to see someone and they told me it has developed into a hypertrophic scar! I want to know if it is possible for this to of developed from a pimple, and secondly what I can do to help it go. |

| | hi, about one day ago i received 3 cat scratches down my face, from my forehead to my cheek. I was very lucky that my eyes were closed, or i probably would have lost one. i am very concerned about noticeable scarring, as these scratches are VERY visible. i have heard various ideas on how to prevent scarring such as the use of vitamin E, however i have heard contradictions regarding it also. I don't have the money to have laser surgery because i am a college student. however, is there any way to prevent the ugly scars? I've been applying neosporin 3 times a day for them. |

| | So i burnt my neck about 2 months ago with a curling iron..i tried taking care of it and not picking the scab so it wouldn't scar but guess what...i have a mark! My mom says that sometimes it takes a year for something like this to heal to tell if i will have an actual scar...(she says even when i was little u could see where cuts were for like a year idk is that weird?) and I hate the mark cuz its so visible for everyone to see and i feel like everyone stares at it...I'm so self conscious! I was wondering what i can do to help fade it...i bought scar zone but that did nothing so i decided to try mederma..i think that mederma is helping but ive only been using it a few day. I hope you can help me! Thank u for ur time... |

| | i have a small cut under my nose....what should i put on it? i want to prevent a scar......after the scab falls off after a week or two...how can i protect the new skin from the sun? so that it does not leave a discolored scar.....plz.....i need help as soon as possible! |

| | hi, a couple of months ago i got a coldsore on the right side of my lip and it turned into a scab. I picked it and it eventually healed but it left a scar on my lip. my lips is darker than my face so you can see a little light spot where the sore used to be. Over the past month and a half it darkened just a little bit and almost 2 months is a long time for a little scar to heal. Well it ever heal and is there anything i can use to make it blend in with my lip or make it go away? |

About a month ago I was leaving a store and hit my chest really hard on the handle of the door. The are right next to my nipple was really red. There was also a small piece of skin hanging so I picked it off. Now I have 2 problems , the part of the skin that was red is now a dark brown color. And the piece of skin that I picked scabbed and the scab fell off put it has now turned to a white/pink shiny color.Will it go back to my normal skin color. And the red skin that turned to a dark brown . Whats that all about ?? Please help me . |

| | Since always little i always been bitten by mosiqutos. I always scratch them, i have in my arms and legs . Now that i am older i have a lot of scars. They are like red and brown and they are very notice because i have fair color skin. I went to a doctor and he didn't help me. I think by tanning can cover them up i need a good advice please help me! Thanks |
