| | I am an African-American woman with three circular scars on my back. The scars are 1.5 years old and I am 21 years old. I have been using mederma for months and recently started using scar pads. When mederma and scar pads are used together, will that fade my scars faster?
If my scars reach the 2 year mark (which I've heard is the time where scars cannot be faded any longer especially if you are a minority), can laser surgery still fade them?
Last but not least, please let me know of other scar treatments if the treatments I am currently using, Mederma and scar pads, are not as effective. This is a race against time! |

| | Hello, recently i had a huge whiteheadon my face. The white top was so huge that i was embarrassed to just leave it alone. However, when i popped it, some black stuff came to the top. | | I am 20 years old and have pale skin. For the past year or so, every tiny spot of acne that I've gotten has scarred my face and doesn't fade. My face looks like a war zone. I've tried a few acne scar products but can't really see any results. I'm a college student on a budget and can't really afford anything expensive. I am under the suspicion that my face scars because I am so pale and fair skinned, but I'm not sure. Are there any inexpensive but effective products you can recommend? |
