3 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I have seborrheic dermatitis and I was wondering if the only treatment for flair-ups on the face had to be prescribed by a doctor. Is there any over the counter medicines suitable for treatment of seborrheic dermatitis on the face?
4 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I just found out I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face and I am looking for a gentle cleanser to use. I was wondering if the free & clear liquid cleanser is pH balanced, because I do not want to use any cleansers that will strip my skin.
5 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I'm a teenager and I'm pretty sure that i have seborrheic dermatitis. I looked it up in the mayo clinic and the pictures looked like what I had. as well as the description of it. It's just in my scalp so far and I'm wondering if by taking a bath and submerging my head under water I can spread the disease to other parts of my body. Is it possible for it to spread to other parts of my body and if so how can I prevent this. Thank you very much

I am 15 and after searching the net I have self diagnosed myself with Seborrheic dermatitis, it is affecting around my nose and I have red pimples across my chest and a raised red flakey lump on my leg. 8 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I have been fighting seborrheic dermatitis for 3 years. I had the disease for a a year and a half before being properly diagnosed. I have severe hair loss. The seborrheic dermatitis seems to be under control, but the hair loss continues. My hair is very thin and I am starting to see balding areas. Will my hair grow back?
9 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face and have had it many years. Is it possible that I also have it on my lips? My lips are continually "chapped" and it doesn't matter what I put on them. If so, can I use the prescribed cream on my lips?

11 Seborrheic Dermatitis
i am 20yrs of age and have recently been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis. however i think my condition is getting better as i no longer have severe itching. But i still have i little flaking in the front of my scalp. I got the disease from i new beauty product that i bought that i was allergic to or was too strong for my hair.it burned my scalp and i would like to now what can i use to get rid of the dead skin cell once and for all from my scalp as this is now my only issue.
12 Seborrheic Dermatitis
I suffer from mild seborrheic dermatitis particularly around my nose. I use sigmacort 1% to control breakouts although that only provides minimal help. I was just wondering when I apply my moisturiser to my nose I also wipe it across my cheeks and forehead. Is there any chance that I could spread my dermatitis by doing this? Also are antifungal creams better than steroid creams? If not what would you recommend I use? I get quite concerned about long term complications. I really just want to get rid of the redness!! Thanks so much
13 Seborrheic Dermatitis.
I was diagnosed with dermatitis 6months ago. It is on my left side of the nose and i have flaky scalp. My questions are: Is it permanent? What are usually the chances that it will spread? Summer is around the corner. Is it recommended to put sunblock lotion on it? What moisturizing lotion do you recommend to use for my face? Thank you for your time!
14 Seborrheic Dermatitis
For the past 6 months I have developed a rather severe case of Sebhorrheic Dermatitis on my nasolobial folds, nose, and upper lip. The flaking that I got was usually visible and would proliferate and appear as flakes on the skin would. Since I started treatment with a fluticasone propionate cream, constant showering, and a anti-fungal cream, the redness and visible flaking has gone down substantially. The flakes have not returned in the same manner they used to, now they appear as small flakes even in the affected area that are only visible after I shower or swim. Within an hour they dry up and appear as part of my skin, not flakey, and appear slightly darker than my normal skin. If I try I can remove these flakes by tweezer however I have not done so to avoid further irratation. Do you think these flakes will remain, as they have for about a month and a half now, or will they fall off as part of normal skin proliferation? Should I try to scrub these off or let nature take its course?
15 Seborrheic Dermatitis And Hair Dye
I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and face. I was wondering if I could still dye my hair using a semi-permanent color. Thanks!
16 Seborrheic Dermatitis And Hair Color
Have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis or eczema on scalp and eyebrows. Prescriptions include ketoconazole shampoo, fluocinonide topical and desonide lotion. Coloring hair seems to exacerbate the condition temporarily each time, but I must color once a month. Should I stop coloring?
