T-zone |
| | I am having a very bad break out in my T-zone with the presence of fine lines and peeling skin at the same time...so it is as if my skin is dry and oily at the same time. I keep trying different moisturizers, but my skin continues to retaliate. I am allergic to gums and seem effected by essential oils so I avoid both in everything. I use a rosewater toner right now, and a new moisturizer with collagen...no spf. Is that part of my problem? Any suggestion on what I should use?

Rash |
| | For about a month or two now, I have had a rash around my eyes and above and in between my eyebrows. It is really not that noticeable until I get out of the shower. I went to my family physician and he gave me some hydrocortisone and Iodoquinol cream. Today after I showered and shaved these red spots were all over my face except for by my jawline and around my mouth. What could this be and what might be a better treatment?

Seborrhea |
| | All topical meds have so far failed me in my treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis. My skin is not flakey, but there are blocked pores and permanent red patches. My pores are large and skin texturally uneven. This happens only mid section of the face (across the nose and under eyes). I am wondering if cosmetic treatments such as laser treatment or dermabrasion (or microdermabrasion)would help me? |

Joint Rash |
| | I have a strange rash. It is only located on my ankles, elbows, wrists, and knees and itches. It is raised but no white patches like a plaque would. I have had a doctor look at it and he said it sounds like psoriasis but looks nothing like it. Do you have any ideas? |

Flaky Skin |
| | Hi Meagan, I am an black male and my skin (face) tends to get flaky patches especially around the hairline and eyebrows. But it also happens around my cheeks close to my nose. My scalp also tends to flake. I have tried numerous over the counter products that claim to help flaky scalp and facial products without any success. Any suggestions? |

Hair Loss And Skin Problem |
| | Dear Meagan, I am really desperate while writing this to you. I have had some nasty form of seborrheic dermatitis (my skin would flake very bad and was dry) and that period my hair started to fall out. I have followed my dermatologist's advice and ever since I managed to get rid of the flaky dry scalp, it is now getting extremely oily, and I keep losing my hair. I have been to several derms. One of them suggested that i could use roaccutane for the skin oil, another one told me to start using minoxidil...what should i do?? |

Skin Rash |
| | I know i have seborrheic dermatitis..have had it for years on my scalp, face, middle of chest and back. I now have another rash on my chest from my neck to my breasts and it appears as though it is spreading more and more. They are tiny red raised bumps that do not itch, burn or have pus. They almost look like the pores are inflamed and it makes the feel of my skin very rough. Could this be part of the dermatitis? Can't get into the dermatologist for awhile...thought you might be able to help. |

Replenix Cf Serum. EGCG? |
| | I was wondering if the replenix serum has EGCG in it, or is it only the isolated bio-flavine?
I am asking about this because I have read that EGCG from green tea has powerful anti-acne properties on par with benzoyl peroxide, and is being used in the treatment of rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis.
For example Dr Syed of www.syedbeauty.com sell a green tea cream that he has just tested on 100 seb derm patients with good results.
Does the replenix serum have any effect in this respect? Thank you. |

Seb Derm Shampoo Rotation Question |
| | I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, and I have been told that rotating shampoos is more effective than using one. In the past I have used DHS Zinc, Nizoral 1%, and Loprox shampoos at various times, and none of them have caused any allergic reactions or other problems. Do you think incorporating them all into a rotational regime would be ok? Are there any seb derm shampoos that should only be used by themselves? |

Facial Rash By Hairline |
| | I have had a kind of rash I think along my hairline for quite a few years. It's bad sometimes, and fine others. It's very bad if I don't wash my face for a day or wear a lot of makeup. I wondered if it were a scalp condition, because it does spread to my scalp, especially if I don't wash my hair everyday. I'm on a quest to find some products that will give me some relief. It's very itchy and flaky and a little embarrassing too.
Thank you,
Rebekah |

PCA Products |
| | Hi there! I'm a female, 29 years old and got an oily and sensitive type of skin. Because it is oily, no wonder that I got a bad acne and I guess an adult acne(because I'm 29 now). It is sensitive too because I got a sebborrheic dermatitis that easily flairs up with acne topical medications so I'm so careful choosing the right product for me. My acne now is more on my forehead and it's really huge and painful. My cheeks got occasional pimples(2-3) specially before and after my period. To make the story short, my seborrheic dermatitis flaired up 2 weeks ago but okay now because I used cream with steroid from my dermatologist(in my home country, but now I'm living here in US). For my forehead where I got lots of pimples, the pca acne cream(phaze 33) from your store really help me. With just how many days used of it, I saw some good results. I wash my face with pca blemish control bar(phaze 32) then acne cream for my forehead then the steroidal drug for my cheeks but now has to stop it because my seb derm cleared up and not advisable to use it regularly. My question now is, since the acne cream and the blemish control bar is working for me with good results, what PCA products that I can use with my entire face to control my acne but doesn't trigger my seborrheic dermatitis? Products that I can use in everyday as a skin regimen. I'm choosing between PCA acneskin and rebalance to add with my acne cream and blemish control bar. Any suggestions for me? Pls help! Thank you so much!! |

How To Remove Layers Of Oils Stuck To My Skin? |
| | Approx 7 mos ago, I developed layers and layers of what seems to be oils/solution stuck on my skin. I have no idea how this happened. I did use olive oil and vitamin E for some time but can't imagine these oils doing this to me. When I peel off the solution that is stuck to my skin, holes are created. There was a time when these holes would bleed. But now, for the most part, they don't bleed. Sometimes the top layer of my skin is removed without a hole. The sores dry up and vanish-I am taking MSM. My skin feels like thick crust in some areas that has shriveled into wrinkles where the crust remains. In addition to this disastrous mess (to say the least), I had raised crust like skin lesions with holes in them on my legs. I thought I may have been bitten. Those have disappeared over several months of drying and manually peeling. I can actually see the solution stuck to my skin. AAgh! What can I use to remove this crust that has deeply embedded onto my skin? Also, there seems to be a very thin layer on my face-thankfully, it is nothing compared to my body. I have no medical insurance, so what I need is something to speedily get rid of this mess. It does come off-just is taking forever.
Thank you so much for your time.
