| | Hello. I've read that sunscreen should be applied every two hours. However, what if i apply sunscreen in the morning, and don't go out in the sun until 5 or 6 hours later. Would the sunscreen still be effective? In other words, does sunscreen become less effective when it is exposed to the sun, or just when it's on the skin. Another thing, I've noticed some acne on my face after using sunscreen. Is there a brand that you would recommend for acne prone skin? Is there really a sunscreen that lasts all day (AS Durascreen claim)? Thanks a million! |

| | I recently heard that we should apply sunscreen even if we are indoors because UVA rays penetrate through windows and persist form sunrise to sun fall unlike UVB rays. If I am going to be indoors all day does this mean that I have to apply and reapply sunscreen until the sun sets? |

| | I use Replenix SPF sunscreen as recommended by my dermatologist, and it works well, even during sun exposure on scuba dive trips. The big problem is the scent, to which I am allergic, necessitating my taking an antihistamine when using it. Is there a similar product which is as effective, but unscented?

| | What is the best SPF 30 waterproof sunscreen for someone with very sensitive skin? I have gotten very bad rashes from many different waterproof sunscreens that say they are PABA-free and hypo-allergenic. The only one I know I do not have a problem with is ""Hamilton Toddler"" from Australia, which appears to have Octyl methoxycinnate, 4-methylbenzylide, Butyl methoxydibenzoydibenzoylmethane, and Titanium Dioxide in it. I also do fine with non-waterproof facial moisturizers like Olay Complete and DML facial moisturizer. However, I scuba dive and could really use a decent waterproof sunscreen. |

| | Hope you can help. I would like to order a sunscreen product to wear underneath my makeup and am debating on what product would be best for my skin type. I am over 45, my skin is somewhat sensitive, still prone to breakouts, and my pores tend to get clogged very easily. (I was on medication for acne during my younger years.) At the same time, my skin tends to flake if I use products that are too harsh, and I am concerned about wrinkles and aging. All of the sunscreens I have tried in the past have seemed to clog my pores and caused breakouts. |
