I have had acne on and off since I was 13. I started dermalogica and it clearned it up when I was 14 but it got worse due to fluctuating hormones and I had to switch to something more aggressive. I have had it under control and now I am 24 and I used the la mer line for a couple of weeks and it made me break out around my chin and cheek area. I want to find a good regime for adult acne control so i wont have to switch on and off so many products. Do you recommend the dermalogica medibac line to clear up what i have now and continue with it?

I have tried so many different brands of skincare. Obagi was nice but too harsh and I peeled all the time. Dermalogica never got rid of my acne. Proactiv got rid of my acne but I am 37 and feel I need something to slow down the signs of aging as well as fight adult acne. I currently use Arbonne but still have acne! I have never had any skincare treatments like peels and am wondering what you would recommend as far as skincare line or treatments? Thank you!

I have been suffering from adult beginning at age 24, I am now 28 and still suffer. I will try various products that work for a period of time, but provide no permanent solution. I have changed my birth control numerous times, have had too many peels to count and am currently on the Obagi Clenzaderm line, which worked for the first 3 months, but is no longer effective. What other than Accutane can I use for a permanent solution?

Hi i am 19 and i have had acne for ever. I've tried the stuff ont the shelf and ordered stuff just when is seems to start working i break out even worse. If I stick with it to see if it's going to get better it doesn't. I've been to the doctor and everything she gave me ether didn't work or i broke out in a rash the hurt and i wouldn't use very much at all. All i have is black heads what do i do????

Hi - I have tried many different products for my acne. Neutrogena, proactive, benzamycin, erthyomycin, salycilic acid. Nothing seems to help or prevent breakouts. It seems that I always have at least two pimples on my face at one time and I also have a problem with large pores/blackheads. Please help! Can you suggest a product or routine that may be effective. Hi. I am a 28 yo female who has had acne almost half my life now. I have it on my face, upper arms, back and legs. After doing some online research, I have come across several websites that claim that acne can be caused by food allergies, like dairy and gluten. Then some websites contradict that claim, saying acne doesn't have anything to do with your diet. Well, I don't know why I have acne but I do know that I eat a lot of dairy and wheat. Also, I have very oily skin that is also dry as well. So, these are my questions: Can acne be cause by food allergies? Should I see a dermatologist about my acne? How can a naturopathic doctor help my acne if at all? How can I reduce the oil? What are some good supplements for acne and healthy skin overall? Thanks a bunch!

HELP. Tried everything, Rxs, proactiv, murad. Can't control my acne. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Something seems to work and then my face explodes. Any suggestions? I'm 35 so along with acne I'm fighting signs of aging as well.

Hi, I am a 25 y.o who has WORSE acne now than I did as a teen!! When I got off birth control last year, my skin went haywire, and has never been the same since. My skin is awful, oily with pimples everywhere....and not just red bumps but whiteheads too! I have tried many products (proactive, dermalogica,berts bees....) and nothing seems to work. I am 29 and have always just had a few pimple break out around my cycle every month. Two months ago my chin burst into acne! I am a teacher and it is my job to stand in front of others all day long. I hate being more comfortable in the dark than in the light. I have tried several creams and they do nothing but dry out my skin. I am 46 year old and I am suffering from acne, I started getting acne in my early 30's and it is getting worse, I been to many dermatologists over the years and tried many products..they work for awhile and it starts all over again. I have sensitive oily/com skin and I get bumps around my chin area and t zone...It takes sometimes month for it to go away....I have some acne scars and a lot of discoloration....please give me some suggestions. Hi! I'm 24 yrs old. Over the last couple of years my skin as gone downhill. A little over a month ago I started using Murad. For the first two weeks my skin looked AWESOME! From there the condition has deteriorated - both sides of my chin as well as jawline are broken out and even on rare days when that area is smooth, the skin looks unhealthy- bright red acne scars that I never had prior to Murad. That's in addition to the smaller bumps I started getting around my mouth. Should I continue with the Murad or try something else?

Hi, I am a 21 one year old, and 6 months ago i have stop drinking for pleasure ie: going out clubbing, dinner etc because of my skin problems. I have broken out with acne which i never had before around my jaw and on my neck. When i go to the gym, the acne gets worse. I am using proactiv, taking Duac acne cream, prescribed by my doctor and it hasn't really made the pimples go away. I am eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water. Can you please suggest any other solutions that can get rid of my acne. Thank you

Hi, I never had acne (or at least anything noticeable) as a teenager, in my mid 20's (after i got pregnant) during my pregnancy i got acne, well, after my 2nd child and now i am 30 i as still fighting acne, i have tried pro-active and murad my dr. also, gave me benza-clin problem is i have these bumps that are under the skin on my cheeks and if anything comes out of them, it just comes back hours later, i have used everything what are these bumps and why won't they go away???
