i have a dry skin rash on back of neck that is painful and it feels like my skin is tight it itches and it is red if i start to sweat or stress it gets worst what should i use to treat the problem

I am having trouble with dry skin around mouth.. like the corners of my lips and under my lips I have tried many different moisturizers and it just makes it red and then drys up like 20 mins later.. I don't know if its the facial wash i use or the water that i use .. but its really bad looking and uncomfortable

I am planning to buy the Janson Beckett Alpha Derma CE. My concern is that I live in Canada and the weather is EXTREMELY dry and windy. And I have experienced super dry skin since I live here (but still have pimples sometimes). I would like to know, if I want to apply an extra layer of an effective, long-lasting moisturizer over the Alpha Derma CE, what are the best options? Thank you so much for your help.

OK! This may sound wierd but its happening to me. My skin is tight and dry BUT I have large pores located on both apples of my cheeks and breakout on my chin and above my lips. This has been going on for 1 year now. Please help? I don't know what to do!

I started using Prevage about a month ago. And noticed an improvement in my skin's texture right away. I'm 43 years old and have some wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes and I'm usually very oily in the T-zone. My skin care regimen is using Olay Daily Facials cleansing cloths to clean, I use Lancome Renergie Microlift Eye around the eyes, Clean and Clear Persa-Gel for spot treatment of an occasional break out, then the Prevage and finally I moisturize with Olay Total Effects. However, in the last week my skin seems extraordinarily dry and stings. Any suggestions?

I have a problem with dry patches around my mouth, nose and eyes but I can't use lotions because they cause acne breakouts, this includes oil free, and exfoliants just irritate the skin more. What do you suggest?

Hello, I am a 27 year old African American female. When I was eight years old I was diagnosed with stage 3 wilm's tumor (cancer of the kidney.) Due to the advancement of the cancer I had to go through 12 units of radiation with blockage and 12 units without. This was done on the left side of my stomach. Every since then every year during the winter months I have extremely sever dryness there and in the surround areas (torso, sides and some areas of my back the tops of my legs near the pelvic area.) I have tried so many things. I peel during this time and it is horribly itchy. I have a regimen where I usually rub baby oil in immediately after my bath/shower then once that is in I take and mix my lotion with baby oil gel into almost a mousse-like consistency and rub this in these areas. It works for part of the day or night (depending on when I put it on) but by the end of the day I am a irritated itchy mess again. Please help me. I was wondering if some type of chemical peel would help. I really quite desperate I actually was using a dry loofah one year to rid myself of all the dry skin but I had to stop because it was getting sore.

I am 54 yrs young, live in the Arizona desert and have mature, very dry, sensitive skin from hair, scalp, face & body. Are there and brands or combination of brands to help relieve the dry itching skin I have, especially in the Winter? I have just started usual Aveeno body wash as a shampoo to help my stinging scalp. Hello, I am 21 and the past few years I have been getting dry skin on my elbows, and now i have recently got dry skin right on my neck line where my necklace is. My necklace has never bugged me before. The dry skin on my neck is like flaky kind of it was red at first. What do you recommend? Do I have exzema:( or can i just say its dry skin. I am very self conscious and stress over little things. Please get back to me.

I have very dry facial and body skin. My body skin flakes. And nothing I try, seems to help either. Can you make suggestions of products? I also have diabetes and a thryoid condition which I think may contribute to the dryness.

I used to have very bad acne about a year ago, but since I started using ProActive my acne problem has been reduced. But along with buying ProActive also came the side-effect of extremely dry skin. So dry that scrubs, and exfoliators are not working. I am about to turn 16 soon but it feels as though I am about to turn 30(not to be dramatic). this may sound like a stupid question, but how do i know i have dry skin? if i wash my face with just water, it never dries up. but after using a cleanser for two days in a row, i begin to see dryness. does this mean that i should buy a cleanser for dry skin? in the middle of the day, i still see oilyness, i mean im 19, a pimple comes up every once in a while, but otherwise this is my only problem. i want to keep my skin clean, i still use differin every now and down, so i don't want it to clog up because of that. but if i use a cleanser to wash my face two days in a row, then my face begins to dry a little. i think it's because when i use the cleanser, i always have to use a lot of water to clean up afterwards, maybe im just cleansing wrong. thanks.

I have very acne prone skin,especially around the jaw line. I have used MD Forte products for the past 8 years with wonderful results. I have been using MD Forte Facial Cleanser III, Facial Lotion III and glycare perfection gel since last September and have had no problems. My skin is clear of acne and I haven't had any dry skin issues until now. For about the past month my skin has become very dry and flaky. I didn't think this would be from increasing the level of glycolic acid since I've been using it since last September and am just now having an issue. Do you think this could be from the product and do you have any recommendations on what type of moisturizer I could use that would be effective and not cause acne problems? Thank you for your time!

I have dry facial skin which feels okay to the touch but underneath is hurting from the excessive dryness. I also get the occasional blemish but mostly have small bumps under the pores, which do not developed into a full pimple but are noticeable to the touch. In addition, around the mouth and nose area I am prone to what I believe is eczema I have been using Cetaphil to cleanse and Phytomer Reinforce for moisture, but the skin is still dry. The red itchy patches have also begun to get worse. Need help.

I am 17 years old.I have been using Duac and diffrin as per my dermatologist. I have been told to use the Duac at night and the Diffrin in the morining. I wash my face with Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser for normal to oily skin. My problem is my skin is very dry especially around the mouth,nose,eyes. It is so dry it is stiff and feels like it is going to crack. I use a moisturizer everyday. Before using the above my dermatologist had me on benezclyn but the same occurred. So I was put on the Duac. These all clear me up good but the dryness is unbearable. What am I doing wrong. She tells me to continue what I am doing but this is uncomfortable.
