Lesion On Bottom Lip |
| | I have a small lesion on my bottom lip where I had cut it at one time. Its round and looks like you could just pop it but you cant. My dentist told me he could take it off for me ,using laser. Would I have a scar or would it eventually heal over. can't find any before and after pictures of laser treatment of this kind. I would like it removed but am afraid it could turn out worse that it is. Everyone always asks what I have on my lip which is embarrassing. Could you advise me on something like this. Thank you |

Retinol Usage |
| | I was wondering if I could use products that contain Retinol or Retinyl Palmitate over my Renova? I'm experiencing no severe side effects from Renova but I would love to add some moisture at night as well. I noticed that many products contain some amount of Retinol (or form of it). Will combining Retinol with Renova render the Renova ineffective or will it cause other side effects? Thanks in advance... |

ADULT ACNE!! |
| | Hi, I am a 25 y.o who has WORSE acne now than I did as a teen!! When I got off birth control last year, my skin went haywire, and has never been the same since. My skin is awful, oily with pimples everywhere....and not just red bumps but whiteheads too! I have tried many products (proactive, dermalogica,berts bees....) and nothing seems to work. I am frustrated and tired of this. Please help!!! |

Acne Problems,little White Spots.. |
| | I have been having skin problems and I'm not sure if anyone can help me though. I have acne problems for years and I have been trying burts bees products for 3 months. No change,my best friend told me to just use the tomato soap and tomato toner,and some moisturizing lotion,and it'd fix me right up,wrong. The garden tomato soap is supposed to be good because it keeps just enough oil in the skin,without taking too much. What is mainly bothering me is my face area below my lips and chin,that whole area has been inflamed for 2 months. Cracks,redness,dry flakiness(Every day when i wake up and during day at work it gets flaky and dry even after i use moisturizer once i start moving my mouth a lot by talking and eating)...and the worst part is i am breaking out in these tiny white like bumps under the skin. It is SO annoying. It was bad today again,varies day to day..but..i don't know why these are forming or what they are from,its only been like 4 weeks..it wasn't doing it back when i used different burts bees acne wash and products. Mostly on my right side of the area lately. I don't know how to make it go away,bad enough having acne on other parts of face,but this localized area is very annoying,the whole area also burns to,and its kinda raw..no skin color,just redness on the side that the bumps are on..

My name is Sara and I am 19 years old and throughout my ''teens'' I have NEVER had an acne problem but then about 2 months ago i started getting really bad acne, ALOT of it and not going away. I have no idea what could of caused this, no sudden changes in my diet or surroundings or anything. What could be causing this ? How can I fix this and get my skin healthy again ?

I have hyper pigmentation and would love to minimize or eliminate it. I am however, breast feeding. I have heard NIA 24 is excellent for my issue. However, is it ok to use this line or any of their products? If not, are there are other products or lines that you do recommend?

Vitiligo |

My daughter is 4 years old. She has light white patches on the left side of her face. I have taken her to different dermatologist and no one since to know her condition. Last dermatologist use a wood lamp light and saw no signs of vitiligo. He said it could be a fungi pytiriasis of alba. He prescribed elidel . It did nothing my daughter still with the patches on her face. Does the wood lamp detect vitiligo most of the time? Could she have vitiligo? She has this patches since she is 3 weeks old. |

Clearing Up Acne Scars |

I just finished my second round of using Accutane and I wanted to try to speed up the process of clearing up the last of the scars. I wanted to go back to getting microdermabrasions but my doctor says I have to wait a full year of the sensitivity caused by using the Accutane might actually scar my skin more. Someone else said I only have to wait 6 months. Which is it? When can I get microdermabrasions again and get rid of the last of these scars? |

Blackheads |
| | I read an article on the net about using an earwax remover on blackheads, leaving it on approx two minutes. The claim is that the remover will remove the blackhead cap and allow skin's oils to resume flowing normally. Is this true or a myth, and do you think it would be irritating to skin? (I was thinking of trying it out on my nose, the main location of my blackheads). Thanks! |
