| | Dear doctor,
Please assist me in getting ride of the acnes that I mostly get a week before and after my period. I get some acnes during the month with out having period but I mostly get them during my period. I lose my self confidence every time I face people and I am having trouble being attractive to my husband as I was before. I don't have insurance for dermatology therefore plz assist in giving my ideas on how to stop these acnes and its spots

Blood Blister-like Spots On Face |
| | I am 55 years old. Up until about two years ago I was still getting occasional pimples on my face. In the last year or so, instead of pimples, I have been getting what feels like a pimple coming up but it will burst (usually on its own) with blood--no clear fluid or head. Sometimes I will wake with dried blood over new spots over night. These bleed to the touch and take some time to heal. Any ideas what is going on? |

Skin Issue? |
| | Hi,
I have had something on my chest for the past decade or so. I don't know how I found it. You can't see it, but you can feel it. It is like a pimple under the skin. When I squeeze it, white puss comes out of the hole. After I empty it out, I have to wait a few months or more for it to have more. I have squeezed it countless times throughout the years.

There isn’t much that comes out as I have already emptied most of it before making this video.
Ever seen that, any idea what it is? Should I be concerned?

Pevonia Or Other Cleansers? |
| | Hi , I am a 16 year old girl struggling with mild acne and redness. I have recently been to an esthetician for facials. She gave me pevonia cleanser, toner ,creme to use. They worked at first but now I can't seem to clear my skin, and its expensive to keep using. I know many people like my mom who use noxzema, cetaphil, ect. from drugstores and they have gorgeous skin! Also, the creme she gave me says to use only once daily, I'm thinking I should moisturize day and night though. Are these expensive facial care products really any better for your skin than products like aveeno, cetaphil ect.? Any recommendations for me?

| | Hello,
I am trying to get pregnant. I get Cystic Acne on occasion. I use Jan Marini products-Bio-clear cream, anti-oxidant daily face protectant and was about to add Acne I Gel to my regime. I wash my face with a Benzoyl Peroxide gel cleanser. First, are all these products safe to use when pregnant. Also, is my regime good for dealing with cystic acne. I noticed you recommend Cosmedic Clarity Serum for spot treating cystic acne...since this product is not safe when pregnant I was going to try the Acne I gel cleanser for Jan Marini...is this what you would recommend. THANKS for you help! |

Gentle Cream Exfoliant During Early Pregnancy |

I have been using Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant at 2-3 occasions during early pregnancy (first trimester). I just realized that it's not safe to use products containing salicylic acid when pregnant which makes me very worried. I understand that a product can be considered safe if it contains less than 2% salicylic acid, but as far as I have found searching the Internet, Gentle Cream Exfoliant contains 5%. I have also used Daily Microfoliant at a couple of occasions. Should I worry?
