511 Skin Lightening For Dark Skin
Hello I was wondering what I can do to lighten my dark African American complexion, I was thinking about ordering nur76 or order some glutathione pills. Do you know any products that I can use to lighten my skin to a light brown complexion and is safe to use?
512 Skin Effects
Ok, this is going to sound odd, but I'm asking as research for something so don't take it the wrong way. I need to know what part of the body, and how much you'd need, to inject with bleach in order to turn you skin pale white permanently. Again, I am asking this for research purposes only and have no plans what so ever of actually trying this. Please get back to me soon, thank you. ~Ian
513 Acne Aid
I was wondering if you can give me some information on the Acne Aid soap by Steifel Labs. I was wondering if you know if the soap is ph balanced? I have been reading how important it is to have a ph balanced face wash.

515 SPF Moisturizers For Oily Skin
Hi Meagan I am 26 years old and I have oily skin that is easily prone to breakouts. My breakouts come out the most around hormonal times and stress related due to school. Well, I’m just about to start using a low concentration of Retin A for my chin area (wear I mostly break out) and sometimes my cheeks. I know I’m going to need a good moisturizing SPF for my face but all other kinds of SPF lotions I have used on my face have made me more oilier and breakout. I live an hour from the beach where we get lots of sun and heat; plus the humidity is very high!!! After going through this website, two products caught my eye which were Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid and Ultimate UV Defense SPF 30 by SkinCeuticals. What do you think and which one would you recommend? I want something that will definitely not make my face look oilier and cause me to break out, but with good protection due to the Retin A due to the environment where I live. Thank you : ) Nina
516 Oily Face At 35!!
My face is so oily about an hour after I wash it. I have tried washing it 2-3 times a day and even more as an experiment. I am 35, non smoker, no caffeine, no junk food, lot's of water, veggies and protein. Wear very little make up, if I do, it is mineral powder. I have used every kind of face, Neutrogena, biore, aveda, daily exfoliating (st. ives, and burts) etc...When I use moisturizer, it makes my face even more oily. Blotting sheets work for about 20 minutes. Even just splashing my face with clean water several times / day only keeps the oil down for a few minutes. My dermatologist has tried multiple creams, gels and oral medication. Any affordable suggestions are greatly recommended, as I am unemployed and do not have insurance.
517 Body Acne
I have recurring body acne especially below the stomach area. This may be due to me being overweight. Is being overweight contributing to me continuing to get these acne bumps and sores in this region of my body?
518 Kinerase And C F Phloretin Serum
Hi, can I use kinerase cream on top of skinceuticals phloretin serum in daytime?
519 Xemos Laser Hair Remover
I have dark skin. And I am EXTREMELY interested in the Xemos personal laser hair remover. Should I buy it and do more treatments on the low setting? I've heard that lasers can burn dark skin if the intensity is too high, but the Xemos promises a long wavelength laser that can be used on dark skin. What is your advice? here is their site: http://visol.com/en/products/Xemos.html?revpage=3#reviews
520 Menstrual Cycle Related Breakouts
Hi, I am Asian & 25 years old, I have combination skin, slightly sensitive. My t-zone is oily, cheeks are fairly normal but tend to be on the dry side during winter. I do not have very bad acne, but I would almost always get breakouts few days before my menstrual cycle starts. Most of them usually go away once the “white heads” appears. But once in a while I would get a really big reddish zit that wouldn’t go away for weeks. Birth control pills stopped my acne problem, but I had to stop because it was giving me severe headaches. I want to try a new cleanser & toner, something that can prevent new breakouts and ease the acne scars. I am interested in the Obagi or Glytone, but not sure what is the right thing for me. My cheeks often get very dry and start to peel when the product is too strong, I read that Obagi or Glytone might have the peeling effect in the beginning, will a good moisturizer help? Please let me know your recommendations. Thanks. I have listed a few items that worked or did not work for me just to give you a sense of background information. Thanks again for your help. [Works Well] Biomedic Purifying Cleanser – Feels very clean, helps with my blemish a lot Biomedic Conditioning Solution Toner – Stings a little, but works well if I use it with the cleanser Kose Sekkisei Lotion Toner – It’s a Japanese brand, helps with acne scars and clams my skin somewhat Jurlique Chamomile Soothing Mist – Calms my skin when it’s very sensitive Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner – very calming, but only helps the breakout a little bit La Roche Posay Effaclar K Acne Treatment – works well only one pimples that has “white heads” [ Did NOT Work Well ] Tretino 0.025 % cream – My dermatologist prescribed this, every time I use this cream on my pimple, the pimple would always turn very red and swollen, seem to be more infected than before. DERMALOGICA MediBac Clearing Adult Acne Treatment KIT – Skin peels a lot, got 2-3 very painful zits after use Dr.Hauschka Clarifying Toner – I get tiny little bumps after a day of usage Murad Clarifying Cleanser – no obvious result, a bit over-drying LaRoche-Posay Biomedic LHA Cleanser – no obvious result LaRoche-Posay Biomedic LHA Toner – feels a bit harsh on my skin, often get red after use
521 Obaji Clenziderm
I recently bought the Obaji Clenziderm three step treatment. I have found that the obaji causes more break outs and redness on my face is this something that is temporary and if so for how long? or should I stop using it.
522 Rosacea Products
I have flushing and rough dry skin. I recently began using Kinerase and my skin is smoother, but is there any other product that will give better results? Is it safe to use the kinerase peel on rosacea skin? Thanks for your help.
523 Salicylic Acid
I have sensitive skin but 2% Salicylic Acid products seem to be great for treating and preventing breakouts (as long as I also moisturize). My question is about salicylic acid soaps: How can it be effective if I lather it on and then rinse it right off? Topical salicylic acid treatments that DON'T GET RINSED OFF must be the only real way to get the effects, right? Thanks!
524 Aren't All The Regenerist Products The Same?
I have had great results with Olay's Regenerist line but the combination of active ingredients in all of them is exactly the same. The serum seems to work great...but if the ingredients are the same, why should I buy a 14-day kit or any of the other products in the line? Thanks!
525 Anti Aging Product Recommendation
I'm looking for an anti aging skincare regimen to prevent and correct any existing sun damage. 36 years old, normal to dry skin, sometimes sensitive and lately have been having minor breakouts. I'm in between skinceuticals and dermalogica. Any suggestions on which regimen would benefit my skin type the best while correcting and preventing future damage? Thank you,
526 Scalp
ok i have curly hair, i use head and shoulders like 4 times a month, but i went a month without using it and one night my head got itchy so i started to scratch especially the front line of my hair, my mom brought me some head and shoulders i showered and the itch and little dandruff i had went away after the first wash the next morning i looked at my scalp and it was clean free of dandruff until i looked at my line in front of head, the whole front line just the edge was covered with big flakes and it was kind of red i told my mom and she got scared and told me it could be psoriasis, i showered used head and shoulders and my mom applied this fungal liquid all on the edge and by the next day it was gone nothing is there anymore, my mom told me that i probably irritated the skin when i was scratching or its probably a fungal infection, but its gone, my mom told me to keep applying the liquid for a couple of more weeks. i got a good scare when she told me it could of been psoriasis. what could it have been?
