| | My husband went to his general practitioner with a lump on his forehead. The doctor said it was a sebaceous cyst and referred him to a surgeon who wants to put him under general anesthesia to remove the cyst. Is it necessary to be put under general anesthesia or can this be done with a local anesthetic? Also, shouldn't he have been referred to a dermatologist? |

Skin Rash |
| | Hi,
At the beginning of this summer (Sometime early June) I noticed an elongated half-dollar coin sized pink rash begin forming on my right chest very close to my armpit. This rash became pink and had raised outer boarders. A few weeks later, I noticed much smaller rashes begin forming close to this rash on my armpit, and back, then near my genital region (I am a male). I have noticed that the primary, large rash may have shrank some, and become somewhat scabby. I just would like to know if this may be serious, and if I should seek medical attention, considering this has been an ongoing process for the past 3 months. Also, the rash is not very itchy. Early Gray Hair |

Since I’ve been looking for a good counseling in dermatology issues in Jordan
And while web-browsing to achieve this goal. I have found this link where I can add my inquiry and perhaps a future visit for closer illustration
I am a female of 31 years old and since I was 25, I have been growing gray hair and recently I use the well known method (hair dye) to cover them which I do it on a monthly basis. It’s becoming a very annoying issue for me especially I know im still too young for that.
I know many factors causing accelerating this such as (it runs in the family) but yet my parents grow gray in later age and in reasonable amount by time.
I am vegetarian and most of my food is healthy (fruits and vegetables)
About 1 or 2 years ago I made a blood test which was good except for Iron where a medicine was prescribed but I didn’t take it all.
Anyway I believe that that major reason behind that is psychologically as I had some personal experience that led me into deep psychological events that helped in stopping the melanin production (I guess)
So I thought presenting my case to you would help to understand my case and kindly provide me with hints of solution or at least slowing the growth of gray. |

| | I have been using Reversa which contains 4% glycolic acid for 3 days now and i have noticed a little bit of redness on my cheeks. Perhaps this is because my skin is not used to this type of product. I'm not sure. Is this normal, should I be worried. There is no burning or stinging feeling, just some tiny blotches of redness. What could that be and what should I do. I want to continue to use this product since the pharmacist recommended it.

| | I am 50 and have been using all the steps of Nu-Derm (.05% of tretinoin) for 9 weeks now. I have not noticed any change, no redness, no peeling, nothing. When it comes to applying the moisturizer it seems to sit on my skin and is not readily absorbed. What am I doing wrong? Also i just have been reading about the skin care line, ZO, also by Dr. Obagi. It says that some of these products can be used with the Obagi line. What do you think? Thank you. |

| | Hi, I am 31 years with combination, highly acne prone skin. I have mild but stubborn acne. I have been using MaMa lotion for over a year now and have noticed an improvement in my skin tone and acne; with occasional break outs now and then. I was thinking of investing in M2 HP skin refinish (from the makers of MaMa lotion). I need to know if this product is as effective in treating acne and post acne scars as MaMa; as certain reviews suggest increased acne break outs with M2 as compared to MaMa lotion, which purportedly is more effective according to few. Kindly advise. Also, what is the difference between the 2 products?

| | I have been on Accutane for 4 1/2 months and have started noticing that I am shedding a lot more hair than normal in the shower and when I brush my hair. Acne |
| | I asked my dermatologist about the adult acne i have been expereincing in the last two months. She told me to wash with Neutrogena anti-acne wash, use Differin gel, and never use a moisturizer in the summer. I have tried this for a week and my face is really dry, cracking, and peeling. It looks worse than it did before! Is it a good idea to not use a moisturizer and to do all these things to dry out my skin? I thought moisturized skin was healthy skin? |

Atopic Pleat |
| | I'm 16 and I have a prominent crease under one of my eyes. Under this eye I used to have bad dry skin and ive been using an ointment and the dry skin has been releived, however, this prominent crease stll remains. I have researched into it and I believe it is called an Atopic Pleat or a Dennie-Morgan fold. Is there a cure for this? or anyway to reduce the appearance of it? Also what could be the cause for it?
