Blackheads |
| | I read an article on the net about using an earwax remover on blackheads, leaving it on approx two minutes. The claim is that the remover will remove the blackhead cap and allow skin's oils to resume flowing normally. Is this true or a myth, and do you think it would be irritating to skin? (I was thinking of trying it out on my nose, the main location of my blackheads). Thanks! |

Brown Spots On Hands After Laser Treatment |
| | One week ago I had laser treatment on the brown spots on my hands. The spots have since turned black but have yet to peel off. Is this normal? | | Hi - I am 37 years old and have sporadic acne in my T zone. I also have red spots (not raised) but I'm not sure if they are acne. I currently use Clinique skincare for combination skin and Bare Escentuals makeup. Can you tell me if these products are potentially worsening my skin? If so, are they some other store products you can recommend? I used ProActiv in the past and did see results but I discontinued because of the price. It does wonders for my skin and I definitely tell the difference when for some reason I don't apply it. M skin is used to acids, I use 15% glycolic pads once/week, and lactic acid peals twice/month. Obagi Vs. PCA Skin |
| | What is the difference between Obagi vs. PCA skin? I have an oily T zone with normal to dry in the cheek areas. I tend to break out around the sides of my face and on my neck line. I tend to have more blackheads around my chin area. What would you recommend for me to use? I am a 32 year old female. I want something that works well but I don't want to spend lots of money.
