| | I've just recently been getting red spots on my cheeks, especially after facial cleansing. I never used to have them but always had rosy cheeks. They almost resemble pimples, but aren't, they stay small bumps and just tend to somewhat go away throughout the day.

Aging Skin |
| | I am 34 yr. old woman and have loved the sun my whole life. Now that I'm getting older, I'm seeing the effects a little bit. I've just started using the Kinerase program. However, I need a good moisturizer/SPF combo on top of it b/c I live in sunny/dry Southern CA. Also, I would like a better cleanser as I am not fond of the Kinerase cleanser. And my pores on my nose and chin are constantly clogged. What do you recommend for all this? Thank you for your help! |

Dermatological Acne Picking Tool |
| | When I was younger, each time I went to the dermatologist he would use this special tool to empty blackheads on my face. It basically looked like a little silver pen with a little circle on the end. I would like to purchase one myself because I believe it would do less damage to my skin than my finger nails. Problems With Hair Removal |
| | I have dark, coarse leg hair and have tried several methods for removal. The problem I have is that I can still see the hair under my skin (they look like little black dots). These can be seen when I shave. When I wax, the hair has been pulled out by the root so you cannot see anything under the skin. However, when it starts to grow back, you can see the roots under the skin again, and in this case, they do not grow. They stay under the skin, like they can't break through. I don't think these hairs are considered ingrown, because they don't cause a bump and the hair isn't growing long underneath the skin. They just stay under the skin, not growing, not pushing up through the skin. The only way I can get them out is to squeeze the skin and push them out. I know waxing makes it so the roots aren't visible intially, but then when they start to grow back, they are there indefinitely because the hair won't grow above the skin and then I have to pick at each and every hair follicle to pull the root out. There has to be a simpler way, some product that I can use to extract the roots! Is there some product that will work to get the root out? I exfoliate and everything already, but it doesn't help. Would a product for ingrown hairs help? |

Vitamin C Serums |
| | Hi,
I have a question about vitamin C products. In the past, I've tried to use a couple of C products (Cellex C, La Roche Posay, and another 12% l-ascorbic product. I used them every day in the a.m., and after 2-3 days, I would get a lot of redness on my cheeks. I have mild melasma on my forehead, and I know that a C product can help somewhat. My question for you is should I just give up, or would it be worth it to try a C product again every other day? Do you think the Skinmedica product might be better for me since it is more of a time released product?

Skin Rash |
| | I grew up fishing all my life. many days in the sun. Always tanned off good. At 41 I had quaduple bypasses. I am 55 now. I have been on medicine since then... Plendil, xp toprol and xanax. Since I had surgery, when I got out in the sun i would get red blotches on the top part of my arm between wrist and elbow. As years went by they become redder and turned to a rash. Now they just pop up as red bumps. As they heal they sort of dry out and flake off. This process takes about a month. Never any pain or iching...just unpleasant to the eye. They almost look like a light red mole. After they fall off they leave a slight scar. temperture does not seem to mater but are worst in the summer. This occurance has also started on my shoulders. The sun seems to be the culprit. I love the sun. What is this? Is there anything I can do besides stay out of the sun. I also tryed 50 plus sunscreen. Helps a little but not much. I do not want to change medicine because I have not had any problems with my heart since and my blood pressure and pulse is perfert. |

| | Hi, I have these odd lumps on my upper arms that seems to never go away. I believe they first started as pimples, but then never went away. It does not hurt at all and is now a dark color. It would be great if you could give me some advice to rid them. Thanks! |
