Permanent Pimple |
| | Hi, I have these odd lumps on my upper arms that seems to never go away. I believe they first started as pimples, but then never went away. It does not hurt at all and is now a dark color. It would be great if you could give me some advice to rid them. Thanks! |

Skin Care |
| | I am 47 years old and must say I have pretty good skin. In the past my skin has been on the oily side - especially the T-zone. I have very few blemishes - usually only associated with my monthly period time. I have noticed in the past few years that I am not quite as oily and I am sure that is because I am getting older. I do seem to be sensitive to certain cosmetics and skin care - will break-out occassionally and some products seem harsh and will tend to cause a burning sensation. Can you recommend a good skin care regime for someone like myself. I have an olive complexion, with quite a few freckles from youthful sunning and also some redness on the lower portions of my cheeks. I am currently using Clinique, but am open for any suggestions. | | Meagan, I was wondering about Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer and if it is safe for your skin. I'd like to know if it ages or harms your skin and for how long it should be used. I have decided on to purhase Colorscience on your site but need to know which color to buy, California Girl, Second Skin, Not to Deep or Light as a Feather. Product For Vitiligo |
| | Hello -
Is there anything that would help with vitiligo?
Up to now I've used something called Dy-O-Derm made by Galderma Laboratories. It's waterproof (since a lot of my vitiligo is on the hands and face). The only problem with Dy-O-Derm is that it has a noticeable orange tint.
If there is something else out there, I would be happy to order it from you. I've tried something called melasyn, but it is not waterproof - perhaps something similar is available.

| | i suffer from cycstic acne mostly on my chin even though im in my mid 30's.
Recently i went to a dermalogist and she wrote a perscription for Amoxicillan for 3 months.
Is this an unusual drug choice for my condition?? |

| | Hi, I am 39 and have always had pretty clear skin untill i got older. Right now i am worried about these white hard bumps under my skin that never go away between my eyes. I have tried everything i could think of to get rid of them but nothing is working.I have had them for approx 3-4 yrs there. I get acne approx. once a month on my period week, but these dang white ones just don't go away. I have even tried to scratch them off! nothing is working. Do you have any answers for me? Dark Undereyes |
| | A dermatologist I used to see gave me a sample of Glyquin (hydroquinone USP, 4%), a skin bleaching moisturizing cream, for my dark undereye circles. I started using it, but stopped when I noticed it was making my undereyes turn red where I put the cream. This was over a year ago, but the effects are still there (my undereyes are more purple/red than before I used the cream). Have any dermatologists that you know of ever prescribed or suggested skin bleaching cream for dark undereyes? Also, is there anything that I can do to "fix" the damage from the cream I used? Itchy Skin |
| | I have these itchy red bumps on my legs and around my elbows. They itch so much they turn into sores that are deep and scar on my legs. My arms just have itchy small bumps. My doctor gave me some cream and it relieves the scratching but drys my skin. My legs seems very dry and flaky and it is only on the front part of my legs and also on 1 of my ankles. | | Hi, i am 14 years old and ever since i was 10 i had a noise covered in blackheads. Even when i use specific products for blackheads they dont go away. I have gone to my dermotoligist a few times but all he ever gives me is really harsh stuff for acne adn i dont have acne b/c i rarely ever get a pimple. I have moderate acne and after my blemishes disappear i am left with red spots that dont seem to go away. Is there any kind of cream i can use that will get rid of these red spots. I heard that zinc or vitamin E cream might be good. Anything else???
