Elta MD UV Pure Broad Spectrum SPF 47 is a truly exceptional product with high percentages of both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and offers terrific sun protection. It is an excellent product to bring on vacation or to the beach—it’s perfect for the family. It has all the important factors needed in a sunblock-it offers broad spectrum protection, has an SPF greater than 30 and it is water resistant. It is my product of choice to lather my family with for a day at the pool and am I never disappointed by the sun protection that it offers. But, with any product, it’s important to reapply every 2 hours with continued sun exposure. And remember, you should use a “shotglass” full for your whole body, so a family should go through a few bottles during a week’s vacation. For a product with such great protection, it is very elegant—it goes on very easily and rubs in nicely. But, for an every day product, you may prefer one of Elta’s other outstanding sunscreens for daily use.
