Reviews of PCA Skin® Acne Gel - pHaze 35
The reason this product is so nice, the serum is light enough in texture so that you can apply it and put your makeup or moisturzer over it with no problem. Does not dry your skin out and works fast against bacteria and blemishes.

It works very well for a spot treatment, however it does burn a little bit if you have a pimple (which i like because it tells me its working)

I like how it goes on and dries so quickly without feeling sticky. Easy to use. Love the pump bottle.

They whole three step program is great, but this gel also works as a wonderful spot treatment on its own. It clears up and prevents zits. I don't use anything else! :)

I use this product to stretch the life of the AC serum. Works great. I like this better for spot treatments

You only need a little bit of this product which I apply to problem areas, mostly the chin, and to actual pimples that are visible. It seems to do a pretty good job of keeping them down.

I started out using this product twice a day. My skin became very irritated and red, so I switched to just applying it in the evening. I continued to have very sore spots on my face after application and even more break outs. My skin felt like it was on fire! I stopped using the gel completely and in just two days the inflamation/irritation cleared up and my skin looked much better. I think I may be allergic to one of the ingredients, but after talking with my aesthetician, she she asked for feedback from other clients and several have reported burning and irritation as well.

Re: very intense by PCA Skin Representative - PCA Skin® Representative
Hello, This is precisely the reason we offer both the acne gel and the acne cream. The ingredients used to treat acne are very active because of the severity of the condition. From what you have described, you are absolutely sensitive or allergic to something in the Acne Gel, as this type of reaction is rare and abnormal. If there were other patients of your aesthetician that were experiencing similar reactions, they too are sensitive to something in the product (probably salicylic or azelaic acid). I would recommend trying a benzoyl peroxide (BPO) or sulfur spot treatment for future breakouts to avoid any other reactions. Thanks so much for the valuable feedback! I have tried tons of products and this is only only product the I have tried that works! My sin began clearing up within 3 days of using it and I really keeps the breakouts away. Definitely recommend
