Reviews of Afirm 2x

This is my first retinol product, and I after a lot of research I went with Afirm. I have sensitive skin and took the risk to start on this dose (other reviews mentioned a much, much longer 'waiting' period for results from the lower dose. Ah, vanity wins again!) I am in my first few weeks of using this, and it's been very gentle on my skin - absolutely no irritation yet. I use it about 3x per week on face and hands and I thought I saw a difference after my 3rd use. And then I thought it must be 'wishful thinking' at work, so I asked my husband -- who said there was a difference! Skin looks smoother, and more even-toned.

I've been using Afirm cream for well over a year now. I began with Afirm 1x and graduated after the first tube to the 2X strength. I started seeing results just after the first month of use. This cream works and is very reasonably priced, the best of two worlds!!

I started with Afirm 1x quite a few months ago and liked it but moved up to Afirm 2x recently and I'm really happy with it. It's helping reduce fine lines and I think it's even helping with my mild acne. You only need to use a small amount & it goes on smooth. I will keep buying the Afirm line.

My dermatologist perscribed this product along with a NeoStrata cream to control the multiple times I have had basil cell carcinoma on my face. I am very prone to this cancer being a Viet Nam vet. I have been using these products since 2004 and have been able to control it now.

The blessing of getting this cancer is that no one believes that I am 64 years old :)

This is a great Retinol cream - feels nice and light going on - not heavy or greasy. I sometimes use moisturizer over it, but usually don't need it. I started with 2x because my skin is used to alpha hydroxys etc. If it feels too dry, I skip a night and use moisturizer instead. My skin looks very smooth and bright. I will probably go on to Affirm 3x next time.

I really love this! I've only been using this creme for 2 weeks and I can already tell the difference in my skin. I have a deep wrinkle at my laugh line that I was concerned about, that is why I was looking for a Retinol A product. Im glad I found this one, good value for the cost. I have experienced some flakiness, but as soon as I use my scrub that goes away, leaving my skin radiant =) So happy!

Afirm 1X is for people with sensitive skin, Afirm 2X is for normal and Afirm 3X is for skin that have more sun damage (according to the product insert).

I've tried this for about 1 month. Like others, I think I was overly aggressive in the beginning with the use. The problem was - I used it every day for 1 week - then had what looked like slightly sunburned skin. It wasn't immediately obvious though. Now I'm doing it every other day and the skin color has definitely recovered. This will dry you out but has cleared up most of my adult acne.

Once my skin got use to it, the chafing went away. I now use it twice weekly and follow,up twenty minutes later with a good hydrating cream. I plan to use it more frequently as the warmer, humid weather approaches and my skin is less dry.

I love using Afirm 2x. It helps makes facial lines disappear and gives my skin a very smooth look. I've had many people tell me, they can't believe my age (55 years)! The 'downside' of Afirm 2x would be in the winter months, my skin can experience a little burning sensation when out in the cold.

I've just started using Afirm 2x after using Afirm 1x for about 9 months. I love it because I have sensitive skin and can't use many products. I've received great results with Afirm products and many people have noticed.
