I've tried other mineral make up products and none have provided the coverage that Jane Iredale Amazing Base has. I love it, recomend it to anyone who has problem skin.

This product is the powder mineral makeup and is easy to use with a brush. It is light weight and sheer and yet it provides good coverage.

This product does not settle into lines and creases in my face throughout the day as do liquid foundations, but the coverage is not a good as liquids. It is extremely quick and easy to apply!

i was extremely disappointed in their base..........it was not what it had promised.

I love every Jane Iredale product I've tried. The coverage of this loose powder is slightly sheerer than the pressed base, so it depends how fab or sad my skin is on any given day which product I would use. The loose powder feels marvelously cool and clean on.

I used to be a die-hard Bare Minerals fan, but love Jane Iredale much more! The base is much finer, so it looks more natural without leaving a cake-like texture on the skin. It is pricier than Bare Minerals, but because it is finer, it lasts much longer...so more bang for your buck!

Light, easy to apply evenly with a foundation brush. No scent - which is wonderful.

I was really hoping this would be a better product, especially for the price, but I suppose you can't expect miracles, no matter what the customer reviews say. The base does stay put all day, I'll give it that, without being difficult to remove w/ my cleanser. However, I find application awkward: if applied w/ a brush, the bristles mess up my concealer, but using a puff localizes the makeup too much & makes it look cakey. I also thought there would be better shine control, but I can't remember if that was actually one of the promised benefits or not. Regardless, I'll use this until it's gone, but then I plan to move on to something else.

This base is a lovely product. It covers beautifully and feels like you have nothing on your skin. If you suffer from problematic skin, it is nice to have something that covers well, evens out skin tone, but lets your skin breathe. I thought I had found the one with another mineral makeup. I loved everything about it except the glow, so I decided to try the Iredale line. I am sticking with this line for good.
