Reviews of Jane Iredale Amazing Matte Loose Finish Powder

I never knew mattifiers existed until now, and this is a great one. It's light and smooth, and really works. The powder looks a little chalky at first, but generally settles into the skin after a couple of minutes. I use it over moisturizer and under a (colored) mineral base. I also purchased the mini compact for travel/purse ... it works as well, but I prefer the loose powder.

I use the Amazing Matte Loose Finish Powder over a liquid foundation. It definitely removes the shine - not necessarily for the whole day, but a good part of it. It is pretty drying, so I'll have to wait and see if I can use it during the winter.

This powder is wonderful!! I apply it as a finishing powder - over my JI PurePressed Base - and it makes my skin look PERFECT. I also re-apply this Matte Powder later in the day to take care of any oily areas. Amazing Matte takes away the shine w/out changing the color of your makeup. It's AMAZING!

This is a great translucent loose finishing powder that uses rice powder to absorb oil. It really does the job. It can be worn under or over foundation, or both. I put a light dusting of this powder on my face before I apply loose mineral powder foundation. Then I apply another loose dusting over the foundation. This really helps me to stay shine-free for most of the day.

This powder is by far the smoothest powder I've had. The keeps the makeup on all day long and is non-irritating.

The powder does a good job of keeping my oily skin oil free for hours. I only have to use oil blotting sheets on really humid days. It goes on easily and is not heavy. It has a nice finish and looks natural. It goes well with the other mineral makeup by Jane Iredale. I would highly recommend!

I actually use the finishing powder immediately after the amazing base, and like it better that way. i was using it after my bronzer application,but didn't like the results. I really like the way it looks when applied as my second step.

I have extremely oily skin. Even though my skin is still oily, Amazing Matte Loose Finish Powder does make it feel less oily than when I don't use it. I would reccommed it to try.

Wow, this powder is great at keeping my skin soft and shine-free! It's by far, the best oil-absorbing powder I've ever tried, and it lasts most of the day. A terrific powder!

Since I start using Jane Iredale products, My friends told to me �gyou have a clearer complexion than before�h. I use the powder after I use concealer. This powder makes my skin smooth without drying. Also this matte powder is clear enough to use under Amazing Base SPF 20 Powder Foundation.
