Reviews of Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant - Tinted SPF 30 - Sun Kissed Bronze

This product gets a rave. My dermatologist recommended it and I sort of scoffed thinking, "why would I pay over $40 for a sunscreen." The texture is perfect as is the scent. I love that it has an anti-oxidant in it and because of the tint, I use it year round. I get a nice glow. Frankly, because I use some intense RX only creams on my face, I don't bother to mix it all up with a moisturizer: I just use the Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant. Easy, breezy!

This is the ONLY sunscreen (and I´ve tried many) that does not break me out. I wish it were a bit more moisturizing since my skin is very dry, but I guess this is the reason why it does not produce breakouts.

I wish the SPF were higher (over 50); since were I live the sun is really really strong.

I liked that it wasn't at all oily and didn't cause me to break-out. Unfortunately, it is a very dark tint and I'm considered fair even with a tan. It's not very moisturizing and I had to apply moisturizer so my skin wouldn't look or feel so parched. It kept my skin from burning when swimming all day, but I know I wouldn't be able to wear it in the fall or winter b/c it's very drying and the tint is too dark for my skin tone (fair).

I use a lot of Jan Marini products and the quality is excellent. My only issue with this is the color, a little too *tan* for my light skin. But since I like the sunscreen, I'll probably order the non-tinted version and mix my own custom shade.
