Reviews of Decleor Aromessence Ylang Ylang - Purifying Concentrate

I love this and use it for a range of different things. I put it on during breakouts to help balance out my skin. I use it during work outs to keep my pores open and clean. It si great stuff!

not only does it help dry out my break outs but it helps the healing process. I no loner get those dark splotches and scars that linger months after the blemish has cleared up

I have oily skin and very succeptible to breakouts. I already use glycolics and other skin care treatments to care for the adult acne but haven't found anything to help with the oily skin. I tried this, along with the matte finish skin fluid and seems to work. The ylang ylang does smell light and refreshing and the combination of the 2 seems to help dry my skin out. As far as helping control the oil during the day, I don't think it works that well because I still have to use blotters or powder half way through the day to absorb the oil on my forehead.

This oil is very light and perfect for balancing oily or congested skin that is prone to clogged pores. I don't think it has any particulat benefits for breakouts of acne or pimples, but I do think it nourishes and moisturizes the skin to maintain healthy balance and reduce the small bumps of clogged pores. Great for skin that needs clarifying without drying, and the smell is so refreshing it does feel quite relaxing and luxurious, which is a big plus when sometimes it feels like we do battle with our skin---this product reminds me to use a gentle caring touch instead. Minus one star for being SO expensive!

This product is amazing. I have very oily skin and am prone to congested pores but after using Ylang Ylang my skin tone has improved noticeably. Though it's oil, it absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving any greasiness behind. The biggest change I've noticed is my skin tone, which has become more even toned and brighter. I have been using the product for 2 weeks now and only see my complexion getting better. Thank you, Decleor for such a great product!

Maybe in the Bizarro World the way to make your face less oily is to put more oil on it, but not on Planet Earth. I have moderate adult acne which for the most part I have managed to keep under control, with only the occasional breakout. However, my skin is still very oily, especially by the end of the day, so after reading the product description and favorable reviews, I thought I would try this product along with the Night Balm and the Matte Finish Skin Fluid. I wasn't particularly happy with it from the start, since it actually gave my skin the oily feel I was trying to get rid of, but in another review they had complained about the oily feel but said it eventually did help. After about a week, I started getting breakouts all over my face that kept getting worse to the extent I haven't experienced since I was a teenager. I stopped all three products and for the last two weeks have been trying to get my face back to what it was before I made the mistake of wasting $150 on products that made my problem much worse. I never write reviews but thought I had an obligation to warn others about what happened to me when I used these products.

The best product for my combination skin so far! It doesn't leave any oily residue.It penetrates the skin very fast and a drop or two goes a long way. I am very happy that I have discovered this product.

Having extremely oily skin I was very turned off by the feel of this product, it's an oil. But I was finally convinced to use it when nothing else would work. This has been the only thing I have ever tried that actually reduces my skins oil production. I recommend it to everyone I know with oily skin. You'll love it.
