I bought the cleanser for my teen age daughter who had been experiencing acne mainly on her forhead. within a week we saw much improvement and now her skin has completely cleared up and is glowing again. The cleanser does not have any foaming action so you may need to use a little more.

This will last a long time - maybe six or more months. Gentle but effective. No peeling so far, and I don't have real oily skin. Being the cosmetic junky I am, I decided to purchase the PCA blemish control bar and the Jan Marini BioGlycolic cleanser too. I combine them all or use one after the other with my Clarisonic brush. Although I'm on oral and topical medications, I sometimes erupt in an occassional deep cyst (adult acne) on my chin. I can't leave it alone - my problem. Then, I finally go to the derm to have it injected. I purchased this and the other cleansers to see they would help. It's only been several weeks. However, so far so good!! I like this product very much.

Great product, does not dry out skin. Very gentle on my sensitive skin. I have become irritated by many products and this one leaves no irritation or dryness.

Another great product for acne. Should be used with the Benzoyl Peroxide 10%. Both sons use this daily.

This is a low dose of Benzoyl Peroxide, so it doesn't dry the face with frequent use. It is enough (2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide) to effectively smooth the pigmentation and texture of my skin.

This is the most amazing acne wash. I thought that my teenage son would have to use oral antibiotics to battle acne and then we tried this with the topical and the moisturizing sunscreen. AMAZING! This really works and really keeps the skin clear and does not dry or irritate the skin. My older son who has dry skin and no acne except for very occasional minor outbreaks, loves this wash. He has to have a lot of moisture for his dry skin and this product keeps his skin very clear and does not at all dry him out. We love this product. I tell everyone about it.

I have acne and use a retinoid--which means no benzoyl peroxide products at night--but I was still breaking out quite a bit before introducing this into my AM routine. It's SUPER gentle, but massaging it into my skin for about a minute each morning really cuts down on the breakouts. My face actually feels kind of soft afterwards too.

I like this product because when i get pimples, this is the quickest and best solution to help it heal every night. It works because it dries the pimple, which makes it less noticeable the next morning when i wake up. I feel like my skin needs it and has been used to this product because i breakout without it and since my skin is very sensitive and oily. I've also learned to use it only night time, because in the morning, having this on with the sun makes the UV rays even stronger and harmful to my skin since i feel it everytime. Just apply at night to heal and wake up and wash it off in the morning..fresh face! I've tried other products but none has compared to this one...whatever i try, i always go back to this one, so i do recommend it.
