A little goes a looong way. You onl need the smallest dab of product to coat the entire face. It keeps my pores refined and my skin smooth. Just mild irritation the first few days, but your skin adjusts.

A great product to rid acne and hyperpigmentation by anonymous
After discontinuing usage of birth control, my skin went haywire and had I broke out with monster cysts that cause lots of hyperpigmentation after they healed. I crossed my fingers and ordered the Bioclear Lotion. Thank goodness I did. In one night, it had already caused many of the cysts to come to a head. Be aware though that this product works in a gradual manner. It shrinks the pimples and cysts and gradually fades the darker marks. Great product!!!

Great glycolic acne fighter by anonymous
I really like this product and am glad that I gave Jan Marini's products a try (I am also using the Bioglycolic cleanser) when Dermstore put them on sale. I have been fighting acne for a looong while and incorporating this into my regimen has helped tremendously. It turns over the skin cells so that they do not get clogged, causing deep and painful pimples. I have some spots here and there, but overall my skin is much better. Just be sure to wear sunscreen-- your new baby soft skin will need it!

Ive been using the Bioglycolic cleanser and the BioClear Lotion for only a few days. Im already seeing a huge difference with my skin texture and my hyperpigmentation is subsiding. I still have cystic pimples. Let's see what happens in a month :)
My acne remedy by anonymous
This product has truly saved my skin from unsightly acne on my chin area. No matter what I did, I could never prevent acne on my chin. I spent thousands of dollars on medication, weekly facials, herbal remedies, vitamins for the skin, etc. I have been using this for 4 months and am on my 2nd bottle. I use this every night and I wake up in the morning with clear, soft skin.

Wonderful Product! Cleared my complexion perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Got rid of those stubborn underneath whelps that never seem to go away, I believe it is called cystic acne. Whatever the case, my skin is crystal clear right now!

So far, so good. This lotion isn't too drying, but I use it very sparingly -- a tiny drop for the lower part of my face. I use it for acne control, and so far it seems to be doing it's job. I also use the bioclear cleanser in the morning.

I have major adult acne problems and have been using Jan Marini porducts for a couple of years. I like her products because they are not oily and does not feel heavy on the face. Plus, the product works and it brought my acne problem under control.

I liked that my pores generally looked smaller, but it hasn't yet helped with the redness, I'm hoping it will after more use, so I will try it for a few months

The glycolic acid in the product is your problem with continued redness and sensitivity. The salicylic acid is the key ingredient that has oil-soluble and antiseptic properties which are good for clearing acne lesions and clearing the pores to eliminate blackheads. Look for other products here with salicylic acid, and avoid glycolic acid. If you don't find what you are looking for here, go to cosmeticscop.com and go into the skin care products, look for exfoliants, and you can start with a 1% Beta Hydroxy (salicylic acid) product, or go ahead and get the 2% Beta Hydroxy if you are battling more severe acne and blackheads.
