I'm not sure if I've been using it long enough to make a firm decision yet, but seems to be working just fine so far. I do have two observations to mention: be careful not to pour too much (a lot was coming out when I squeezed the bottle, so I started to open the cap only half way to prevent too much from coming out), and this product really doesn't lather much at all (if you like a facial cleanser to lather, then you probably would not love this product).

Every morning I look in the morning I can see a difference in my skin. My hyperpigmentation on my cheecks are lightening and my overall skin complexion is lighter. I can tell that its working. I wonder what the results will be when the whole bottle is finished. I would def reorder this product again because of the wonderful ingredients.

I didnt get the results I expected. I still have scarring on my cheecks and the bottle is almost gone. Im going to try MD Forte 20% cleanser next. I am never going to give up on my quest for beautiful skin. I actually got a scar on my chin while swiming and used lemon juice and raw shea butter and a 2% fading cream and the mark is lighter than the acne marks on my face. I cant use the 2% cream on my cheecks cause it would take forever to put it on the 30 somthing marks. I need something that works really well on old scarring

I love this product, my skin has a natural glow to it after using for about 4 weeks. It took away the dullness! I would highly reccomend this to anyone that would like to achieve a brighter and more clear skin complexion. Love it!

Definitely brightened skin. Didn't really lighten my age spots. Left my oily skin feeling very clean. But had to alternate with other cleansers because it started to dry out my skin a little too much.

This product is great! It is actually getting rid
of my black heads. It also has decreased the pore size on my face. I also have problems with brown spots and freckles the freckles have faded and the other brown spots are fading. I am generally skeptical about products that are said to take away blemishes, age spots, skin discolourations and hyperpigmentation especially if they are natural and do not contain the harsh chemicals to which I am accustomed. I really got a surprise after using DDF Brightener Cleanser! My hyperpigmented elbows began fading after using the product daily for only three days. I have tried brightners and bleaching creams before but never came across a product which works so well.

I used it several times right now, and I purchased it based on the good reviews from this website. So far, I didn't see it's doing anything to my skin, and the next day when I woke up, I noticed some little break out on my face, I am not sure whether it's because of this cleanser or some other reasons.

Comment from DermStore staff: DDF Brightening Cleanser Give this product a couple weeks before discontinuing use. It's very normal for one to breakout with initial use of a product - this does not mean the product is not right for you. This is considered a purging period, which is actually good for the skin. i can tell that this product is actually working to fade
acne scars. i assume as with any product it will take about 6 months to see the full effect, but this is a really big bottle and will last me awhile, totally worth the price. Review posted 7/9/2008.

A miracle for hyperpigmentation from Cyril E King Airport, St Thomas, VI Verified Purchaser
I bought this cleanser based on other reviews on this website and others. I have terrible pigmentation problems caused by acne and sun damage and and also had a large hyperpigmentation scar/mark from a badly performed-by a doctor-tca peel. The doctor told me that I would have to go on benoquin which destroys your skin's pigment-to clear the mark up. I have also used two tubes of Tri-Luma over an eight-week period on the mark and it remained brown and extrememly noticeable, like a long scar going down my face.
I have been using this cleanser for less than a week and the mark has almost disappeared from my face. This cleanser did in a fraction of the time what prescription creams costing over $100 could not do. I think this cleanser is a miracle and I will definitely continue to purchase it and I truly hope that it never goes off the market. Review posted 6/11/2008.

I have tried every cleanser from drug store brands to expensive dept. store lines and was not happy with the results. I have mature, combination skin and my friend told me about DDF Brightening Cleanser. I am hooked! It removes all makeup and is very gentle and most efficient. I love the licorice scent and it is not drying or caustic. I would definitely recommend this product!

there may be hope for hyperpigmentation from Hoboken, NJ Verified Purchaser
Honestly, I have just purchased this product and only used it a couple of weeks. I think it is helping with some dark spots on my face, but it is still to early to tell. It does work great as a general cleanser too, and manages to take off my mascara which is a bonus!
But in hopes that this will do the trick, I am using not only on my face, but also by neck and my forearms where I have sun damage. I am truly hoping it will also manage to fade some dark spots on my hands! Review posted 11/1/2006.
