The best product for oily African American skin by anonymous
I've been using this product for about 4 years now and love it. African American skin can tend to be oily. I was having problems with cystic acne and my dermatologist recommended the Glytone Ex Gel Wash I use this in conjunction with the Glytone toner, the clarisonic facial brush system, retin A micro and hydroquoine (4%) for any pigmentation. I'm 46 years of age and my skin looks and feels great.

This face wash was such a pleasant suprise. I have very oily skin and have always had break outs. This face wash is now my all time favorite. It doesn't irritate my skin which is rare for me with glycolic acid.I am hooked.

The Glytone wash was effective at cleansing and exfoliating. However, I would have preferred a more foamy lather because the wash was difficult to massage into my skin. I would definitely try more products from this line to supplement to my skin care routine.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! IM A GUY AND I HAVE OILY SKIN SO THIS PRODUCT REALLY GETS IT CLEAN AND KEEPS MY BREAKOUTS AT BAY- I NOTICE A HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN I DONT HAVE IT. I ALWAYS TRY TO REORDER BEFORE I RUN OUT.

This product worked great on evening out my skin tone and shrinking my pores. But my skin did not react that good to the product after 3 weeks of use. My skin is fairly sensitive to any type of AHA acids.
I would use AHA in a mask product instead. I went back to my tea tree oil product and works great. Review posted 7/19/2009.

Best Wash for Oily Skin by JS
I have been using this product for over two years. i have extremely oily skin that is prone to break outs and this is the only wash that has been able to keep the oiliness and the breakouts under control. I highly recommend this product. It also helps minimize pore size and keeps black heads at bay.
