Reviews of Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion

I first purchased Avene's Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion at a fancy spa. So glad to find it now at Dermstore. This product cleans without drying your skin. No tight, itchy sensation or overly oily skin reaction afterward. It has a light creamy texture that won't make your face break out. This product only has the ingredients you need - no perfumes, dye or fillers. I live in a desert that is very hot and dry in summer and very cold and windy in winter. This cleanser works perfectly for me year round. It resolved my once oily T-zone and keeps my skin clean and properly hydrated no matter what kind of weather we have. I love it, and plan to keep using it for many years to come.

I use this cleansing lotion with a battery powered rotating brush made for the face. The Avene cleansing lotion is very mild and does not strip my skin making it feel even drier than it naturally is. I purchased this along with the Avene Rich Compensating Moisturizer, and these products really compliment each other. In addition, neither product contains parabens which is how I wound up trying this product in the first place. I will continue using this product.

This is a fantastic cleanser. It is fragrance free. It leaves your skin feeling clean without feeling stripped of moisture. It is wonderful for even the most sensitive skin.

The best way is to just apply a dime sized amount and rub it into your skin for about a minute, then use a cotton pad to wipe it all off. I do this twice to make sure that I get all the dirt off. Your skin looks bright and clean and feels very moisturized.

This is Avene's replacement to the "Extremely Gentle Cleanser For Intolerant Skin", which apparently is being discontinued. If you're like me and used to be a devoted user of the previous cleanser then you will find this new one to be a suitable replacement. It's light and silky texture glides onto skin to calm and soothe irritation. It is ultra gentle, never stings or burns. It doesn't seen to clog pores or cause any breakouts either. FYI to anyone not familiar with this line, don't expect this cleanser to remove heavy make-up or greasy/oily skin. But it is very effective at cleansing extremely sensitive skin that gets irritated by everything else.
