Reviews of Glytone Fading Lotion

I have been using this product for about 3-4 weeks and I have seen a big difference in my skin. The dark spots that have been bothering me for several years are fading away. I can not wait to wear a sleeveless dress this summer. Thank-you.

While this fading lotion is by no means a miracle cure, I was impressed with how quickly I could see results. I noted a subtle improvement in the evenness of my skin tone (I am fair, mid-30's with a few freckles and areas of melasma). The added benefit with how much softer my skin feels.

A mildly scented liquid that does not clog pores. Can easily be worn under make-up. I saw results within the first week of use. It does not dry the skin or make it oily.

It's difficult to say how effective the product is since I haven't been using it for long yet. The only problem I have so far is that it has a little bit of a fume when it is applied. Other than that, it doesn't seem to be as sticky as other products and it doesn't have bad smell, and doesn't seem to be too harsh on skin. It's a roll on so it doesn't need to be applied by using a finger tip. I put 3 for both ratings because I haven't been using it for long yet.

I bought this fading lotion because i have hyperpigmentation in my body, especially at my underaram. I went through laser treatment before and left me with a black laser plate with a square look & discoloration. I've been using the lotion for 2 weeks now and the result were brilliant. I can see it's fading slowly but because i have a HYPERpigmentation, that means it'll take awhile for the discolouration to take out completely..!! I have a south asian skin and it does flakes abit but i always scrub it off when I took my shower. I hope this lotion can really help me restore my confidence level again, especially when I'm wearing sleeveless top...!!! Overall, this product is brilliant, highly recommended..!!

There is some peeling and redness which I expected since there are glycolic and kojic acids and this is normal as the skin adjusts. The lotion is "watery" and smells acidic, like a medication. It's my understanding that the hydroquinine and the kojic acid actually prevent overproduction of the dark pigment in the sunspots, so my new light cells should appear in a few weeks since it takes about 4 weeks for new skin cells to reach the skin surface. I'm very excited that it works! Very important to use a physical broad- spectrum sunscreen at all times when outdoors, this is as much a part of the treatment as the lotion.

I have used a number of different Glytone products for five years, finding their Cleanse Cream Wash to be the best - the gentlest - there is on the market. So it was with great faith in the Glytone name that I purchased Glytone Fading Lotion.

I am sorry to report (for Dermstore as seller and for me as buyer) that this purchase was an utter waste of $36. I am fair-skinned and have faithfully used the product, carefully following all directions, for two months now, and I have experienced no fading of targeted discolorations as promised in your adversiting.

Therefore, I strongly discourage your clients from purchasing Glytone Fading Lotion, as one's high hopes for improvement in skin discolorations, and one's bank account!, will likely be the only things they will see fade.
